that’s right, eve is ending and they’ve got the legitimation and image to milk the players willing to be milked. an so ccp will slowly fade and transiting into new projects while scratching everything posible from the decreasing fan base of eve online.
I have a really primitive question: does the World’s Economy affect also the in-game prices of PLEXES and Omega Time, or the in-game economy is a completely isolated thing?

Slightly disappointed, for a more casual player like me its just a bit too much of a stretch.
Sad day really but I’ll pass on paying that much money for any monthly subscription.
However as a developer the company I work for isn’t touching subscription fees. So the reasons as I see them are frankly flat out lies, which is worse.

Ok, Eve was always unique in its way, what i liked a lot.
But the price before was already above average… and i often thought about… is it worth it?
you can play anything else and have potential more fun, less work for less $.
i didnt have a lot of time so makeing good money was always a struggle…
but at least i managed to have some fun so it was justifying for me in the end.
could have done things different, could have tons of alts etc…
but didnt want Eve to be a 2nd work for me
I just play it to have some fun without ruining me IRL and just have a good time and forget the Daily RL struggle for a few hours.
Over the last Year it felt more and more just like a Job… much work for less and less income to have some fun…
Like IRL… but… thought Eve is a game… and now i have even to pay mor IRL to WORK IG to be able haveing any fun than?..
Subscription is cancelled, i got 60 Days playtime left.
IF things changed till than, like more content, more fun for your bucks/ (even if your just a really small light in Eve without the big options you have in big nullsec allys) , maybe i will reconcider.
but i doubt it.
Was an very interesting experiance, interesting ppl, but i wont pay anymore and i hope enought ppl will think like me so it MAY have an impact to help CCP get back to their mind - if they ever had one.
i mean… they want 35% more,
if 90% of all subs got cancelled… (what would just be a bit more than every alt ;P) it should be a heavy enought loss i hope to get them… maybe… awake…

Also forgot to add, non US players have seen price increases in recent years, in GBP and EUR at least. So this 2004 stuff is nonsense. For some reason their exchange rates are also bonkers.

Yes it’s a big percentage increase.
Yes, I don’t like it either.
Yes it’s more than industry standard sub for games.
Yes content has been poor over the last few years.
Yes, I have un-sub’d all my accounts as well.
However, Devil’s Advocate: What hasn’t shot up in price in the last year? 
Even the Dollar Store is now the $1.25 store.
And you probably pay more each month for Starbucks and/or Uber Eats.
Just saying…
I have unsubbed all six and even if they revert it tomorrow its too late.

Would have loved to see 1,3 and 7 days alternatives included as well so I can sub over a weekend. I am happy to see the 24 month offer though, and at a competitive price. But first-time players spending even more money to try out the full experience may be hopeful wishing with that monthly price

I love how I have been a loyal member of the eve community for years, but due to a fixed income (I live on VA Disability) I cannot afford this game in the way i have been playing it now.
CCP has increased my monthly bill by two accounts, I have been paying for six accounts for a long time now because I felt I wanted to support the company that I loved and be able to play a game with friends that I cared for, but this is the thing that makes me drop a lot of accounts.
your choice to keep this uncaring thought for your fan base is anti-customer and now for once and for all shows me that CCP has lost all notion of what their player base is and only wants to cater to the money, I see CCP’s priorities now, you have lost your way and forgotten the face of your fathers.
I am deeply saddened at the fact that, despite literally saving my life in my darkest time, eve will not be there in the same manner as it has before for me. I have been one of CCP’s biggest supporters in my circle of friends, but now, not so much.
This is the end, I’m sorry it has to go like this, I’m not sure if I will be able to plex all of my accounts, but I cannot pay $20 a month, that will sink me.
Good job CCP, you have ruined your own game.

Your decision to increase sub cost to an unprecedented price point will be your actual undoing. You arent adding value to the game, as some individuals have suggested. You’re extracting it at a higher rate per transaction but with fewer transactions total. Nevermind that further increasing perceived emptiness will decrease the number of tranactions in a cyclical fashion. In other words, this first month may look ok but it will only get worse from here. As the situation inside the game deteriorates less and less people will find enough value in it to justify continued spending at the now higher price.

Software, including games. Doesn’t require much in the way of oil products or transportation, so still unaffected.
This has to be one of the dumbest statements I have read today. (I quite saying… “The stupidest thing I have every heard.” Recently, Because you people keep surprising me. with this stuff.)
Just was looking at numbers as if u had say 25000 subs at say 15.00 and or 20000 subs at 20.00 They still win… I know numbers are not exact but u get the idea
