You don’t deserve more money especially in these tough times for US too, literally rolling back every patch until at least two years ago when I came back would be an overwhelmingly positive change. Among other things, you’ve killed nullsec pve.
I’ve unsubbed all but one account to keep hanging with my alliance
How did you research these costs? I understand a bit of hike in costs from time to time, but 30% in one go? 20eur is currently extremely high for some European countries, especially in the current economic crisis.
I usually welcome any changes to eve as we need a bit of refreshment, but I can foresee many of my friends not subbing any more. How to combat this?!
Somehow the dev found the time to raise the price of the game, yet still no local currency support.
I don’t think i’ll be paying the ~$26/month per account after americanized conversion.
This is so dumb CCP no other mmo is raising their prices. Your literally killing your own playerbase. Thats while a 5 dollar change could be enough for people that barely make ends meet to cancel subs forever.
There may be. But what they wont want to do is announce this at fan fest along with the other stuff. Because that would mean the story of fanfest would be price increases and not content.
This way they put the bad news out there a couple of weeks in advance. Take their lumps. Then (hopefully) unveil something at fanfest that changes the narrative. It’s a very Apple like thing to do.
This game isn’t worth $20 a month.
Especially not for people with multiple accounts.
Adding insult to injury, this is being done in the middle of a cost of living-crisis.
Well done CCP, you squandered whatever good will you may have managed to (re)build before fanfest.
