Well not totally true. If you have a product you start offering since letâs say 2004 letâs pick a hotel room. The hotel room is much older 18 years later, if you maintained it it could be the same quality as when released but if you donât it would be a lesser product due to age. The question is then if this 18 year old game which requires more then 1 account to play properly worth the same amount as a complete new title in store every month.

I means itâs to avoid people stop paid when they broke the game, basically you could paid the older price if you take bigger subscription time.
CCP learn from theyâre mistake: now they will be abble to planify to kill the game on more month/year before suffer consequence.

I think significant is going to be an understatement. Personally, I have 7 Omegas, I just canceled auto-rennewel on all of them. Today, EVE has died for me. I am done.

You know what that wording means. Paid content is on the very near horizon. That sentence opens the door for paid expansions just like âAll SP will always come from player trainingâ opened the gates for SP in packs for real money. The implementation of such a system is very simple, too. It will be instanced space like Abyss that you can only access if you bought the expansion.

Seems like you called it exactly, every other mmo manages to release multiple huge content patches every single year for a $15 sub and somehow eve cant manage to do even 1 content patch a year. Players are already tired of the same old thing and charging more for the same content is just stupid.

Brisc donât sweat it man, you can only flog a horse so much before it keels over and dies. I donât blame the CSM the fault lies purely at CCPâs feet, and the way this is going down that fault may end up 6 feet under. PCU and the in-game market may never recover and we are just entering the summer period as well, when traditionally player numbers decrease. Everyone should cancel fanfest and just meet up with each other and not attend any Eve event put on by CCP.

Prices getting âcheaperâ⌠As it should be. At day zero, it was a brand new game with new -everything-, constant tweaks and changes, a dev team that cared.
Now, while from a -purely financial- prospective youâre right. it is still âcheaperâ.
But instead of a new game, weâre paying for what, exactly? an HD remake? no. A flourishing economy? also no. something that any one of us honestly believes will still be standing in two? five? ten years??
By your logic, theyâre asking us to pay New car prices for a 20 year old Ford Pinto that had the radio jacked by the dealership.
