I would submit that we are spending far too much effort looking for extraterrestrials in the sky when they have long walked(hopped) among us on land.
Look at that thing. You can’t tell me that aint no gosh darn alien

But Mr Bennington is incapable of grasping that his dogmatic belief is just a belief. It seems to be almost on a religious type level…which makes it all the more ironic that he thinks anyone opposing it is motivated by religion. No…those opposing his dogmatic views are simply motivated by proper science, which requires empirical evidence. And as of this date, there is zero empirical evidence for alien life. The best we can say is ’ nobody knows’. Which is precisely what Professor Kipping is saying in the OP !
Don’t get me wrong, many of these UFO’s have me baffled to the extent where I believe there is alien life. However these are just evidence of a sophisticated flying machine and not an in the flesh alien or clear indication of existence so it’s still speculation.
I know that nasa can detect if there is life on a planet by the type of signals the said planet emits, as far as we know they have not seen such signals emanating from any planet and I know that they can see planets that are many light years away.
I used to be a firm ‘believer’ in UFOs, but I have now seen so many ‘best ever’ cases convincingly debunked that I now have grave doubts whether there are any ‘real’ cases. Even the Pentagon videos that were released in 2017 have all been explained away…quite convincingly. There’s a few historical cases that are intriguing and baffling, but I’ve increasingly turned skeptical on the whole topic.
Yes, I read a convincing one in history where the respected commander of an army described what he saw as a “burning metal shield flying through the air”. I believe he did see a flaying object but the question is where could it have possible come from over a thousand years ago.
There could well be a lot going on, it’s just a pity that there isn’t evidence to support any of it.
No, the evidence that the universe exists is apparent for all to see. As it stands at the moment there is no evidence that can be believed beyond reasonable doubt to say that aliens exist.
You are still using a Sementical Science process to say that because alien life hasnt been discovered in the Universe that alien life doesnt exist.
The fact that you cannot repeat the process of the Big Bang to prove when the moment life came to be in the Universe, the exact moment, that is then testable by all sciences and achieves the same result, each time, counters any and all arguments regarding the use of science in proving life doesnt exist in the Universe.
If you cant prove when and where and the exact moment that the ring of life, that first subconscious eddy current came to be, then you cant discount the belief in alien life.
I can prove alien life exists simply by looking at all of the life on Earth and by understanding how life evolves in different environments over hundreds of millions of years, that an Earthlike planet will have life on it due to the same ring of life that brought primordial life to Earth after the Big Bang will have encountered other, Earthlike planets.
The life on Earth is unique. due to the positional values of the Earth within the Goldilocks Zone. Life ob another planet similar to Earth, would be similar but would be uniquely different, just like all planets capable of naturally supporting life would be unique, but all would have come from the same Primordial Soup of Life.
I exist, a bird exists, a lion exists + the other millions of species that exist and have existed, is all the proof I need.
In the entire Universe of trillions upon trillions of galaxies with a whole ton of planets, science isnt needed to prove alien life exists. The testable and repeatable values that prove life exists is that galaxies have been proven to form one way. And as such, galaxies forming in one way that can be tested and proven with exacting results will prove that life exists in the Universe because the same parameters that created life on Earth, comets with ice, water, carbon and other life building components would not have simply been an arrow shot to Earth, but would have spread across the Universe as a wave or ring.
The same parameters that formed Earth would have existed elsewhere in the Universe.
Where’s Alien Life? How To Mathmatically Prove Alien Life has been Found without Revealing Where that Alien Life Is.
Zero-knowledge proofs allow mathematicians to prove claims without explaining why they’re true.
in Denmark he is “Holger”, in France he is “Charlie” in “Où est Charlie” and in German “Walter”!
Nobody has said it does not exist, I and others said there is no evidence to support the belief they do exist. Factually we do not know (and probably never will know) if life exists elsewhere in the universe.
Sounds fantastic, show us where to find this planet and we will believe you, otherwise this is speculation.
I listen to what actual scientists have to say…not to ‘Joe Bloggs on the internet’ who hasn’t a clue. Let me know when you’ve had a peer reviewed scientific paper on the subject published ( the scientist in the OP has had numerous ). Until then…your views on the subject are utterly irrelevant.
Though isn’t it a known fact that life on this planet is actually caused by gravity of the universe pulling all the atoms together?
/…& @Altara_Zemara how do we know who is the astrophysicist?
…and as such, wouldn’t gravity pull atoms together on other planets in the same process that atoms were pulled together on Earth to create life?
Excellent comment IF.
Ah…that would explain why there’s life on Mercury and Venus and on the Moon too.
Sheesh.
Your comment about gravity has brought up very interesting questions regarding gravity.
I’m almost certain there is Alien life on this planet without trying to think about any more dinosaurs .
Look at your timeline we know you’re trying to run ahead of the pack here with what’s on your mind,
A supernova that erupted when a massive star died could have destroyed our infant solar system — if it weren’t protected by a cocoon of molecular gas.
The supernova that erupted could have accelerated components in the molecular gas cloud together to create the building blocks of life on Earth. If such an extreme event happened in the Universe, along the same parameters, then life could exist on the planet in question.
@ DrysonBennington A filament of a molecular cloud…
Confirmed the New Eden Filaments are real!
Gravity or the effect of gravity is determined by the mass of an object, the mass of earth (and local objects) seems to perfectly support life, for example the moon helps to keep our waters calm and Jupiter is a superhero where due to it’s mass it has diverted asteroids from hitting the earth for millions of years.
So, not only do we have to consider earth but we also have to consider local objects, and conditions. so due to jupiter having superior mass this created an environment where earth could thrive without being constantly hit by asteroids which is what would have happened more often if jupiter wasn’t there.
Gravity is only determined by dense objects. So, the Sun keeps the earth in check, and the mass at the centre of galaxy keeps the sun in check. (the sun orbits the centre of galaxy)
Gravity is determined by mass so there is only one type which varies in strength depending on the mass of the objects generating it.
I believe atoms are attracted to each other so they would have coalesced (come together) without the effect of gravity. Atoms coalescing is what creates the mass, then mass creates gravity, so at the beginning of the universe and shortly after there wouldn’t have been much mass.
Iron for example, was in fact created in a star which at some point went supernova, so the fact I have a car made from iron means that the iron travelled from the site of the supernova to where earth is now somehow.
Everything I am saying here seems to indicate the creation of life is a long process with more variables than we can possibly imagine. This is why I believe there is an architect (God) because the fact that we are even here pushes the boundaries of coincidence to the absolute extreme. A nearby supernova provided material, a sun which supports life, Jupiter is our bodyguard, and a ton of other impossible “coincidences” made life possible.
So life existing elsewhere might not even be possible, and may require a form of deity to manipulate what is present in the universe to create life. The existence of alien life is an impossible subject due to the fact that there is no clear evidence as to what drives things like DNA or how DNA came to be in the first place, these kinds of questions need to be answered first before we have any hope of answering if aliens exist.
As I say, it is very possible the process I describe has happened in other places in the universe, there is just no evidence to support this speculation.
If Aliens do exist then they have their own RNA and DNA, feel free to explain how that is possible.
Gravity must determined by non-dense objects. Without some type of gravity in the Primordial Universe or space-time before the Big Bang, energy and particles would not have formed. Without an object of density, how would the Big Bang of occurred?
