This convo is unrealistic and I am unsure why you deleted my posts talking about the origin and meaning of numbers. I already said I wasn’t imposing it on anyone I am just curious as to why others think like they do.
How does - “numbers are the language of creation” mean religion? And how are we supposed to discuss the possibility of alien life without the convo touching on religion somewhat?
So we can talk about numbers, but in no shape or form can we talk about where we think they come from or what they mean? I’m a 45 years old man not a school boy talking when I shouldn’t.
This is unrealistic moderation done by someone who lacks experience. And you could do with instruction on how to moderate.

I guess this is a fake convo then which will never encompass the entire subject, they can go ahead and ban me because I think the moderation is unrealistic and I am not afraid to say so.

Science is really just the study of what’s apparent, it doesn’t tell us the reason why things exists and it doesn’t explain what generates our reality. It explains the mechanics of reality but we can’t get an indication as to what prompted the creation of the universe and why.
If we only consider scientific reasoning for aliens existing or not then the convo is over simply because that is not the only perspective which exists. One can’t say anything these days without deeply offending anyone.
According to the Science nuts it does. It proves that the universes appeared one day out of a big explosion. It explains where/why that explosion happened and if you believe it doesn’t then you are a problem.
It does and Science nuts say you’re mentally inferior if you don’t believe it does.
And there you go with that word “creation” again. Strike it from your vocabulary.
It is the only explanation. Other perspectives are born out of fear and ignorance. Only Science is right.
Then the answer is easy: don’t say anything.
You realize of course that I play the devil’s advocate in this post but regrettably the Science nuts do not.
Science is ■■■■■■■■, IMO. All it does is provide a lens through which we observe our reality. All we’ll ever know through science is what is around us. But there’s plenty of stuff out there that either gets cloudy through our lens-kinda like geographic atrophy that that guy mentions in that recent AMD commercial-or simply gets missed completely. Nothing that I know of is completely visible to everything in existence, whether seen through our lens or not. But that’s the point. Nothing will ever know everything, all the time. Not even other aliens.
Honestly, it doesn’t really matter what anyone thinks or believes. The truth is whatever it may be and nobody can ever change that. Really this thread should just be about exchanging ideas and general discussion, nobody is trying to get you to believe anything.
