Divorce & Eve assets

We’ll never know if there was a sliver of truth in the story of OP, or from some of the other posters . But still, what a great horror story to tell other Eve pilots (perhaps spice it up a little with an AT ship in the mix). I was hoping the next chapter would spice it up, but the usual suspects weren’t very cooperative this time. Anyway, it’s only a matter of time before someone does try to pull off something of this nature, and the eve pilot can then point out that monetary value is zero and emotional value is priceless.
As to it being crass or not … well, it’s not Benny Hill humor and it doesn’t reach the levels of Monty Python. But I’m not a fan of any level of censorship (in humor).
I agree it should have been better placed in the Out Of Pod section or even the underused Crime and Punishment and throw it at the Space Judge there.
All’s good, let’s have some fun elsewhere (like my morning coffee)

This whole thing seems crazy but I guess in a warped way the assets might be seen to have some legal RM value.
If you pay for your alpha in plex and have enough ISK for say, 5 yrs of eve subs, you could maybe argue there is 5 yrs of subs ($500 or whatever). More than that is pushing it.
I dont know. Wife is watching her super serious TV show and i wanted to type something cos I’m bored.

edit further brain splooge OTOH if the OP is facing such an aggresive lawyer his eve assets are prob the least of his problems.

Imagine that the wife knows that his friends owe him some favors for helping them in the past, and the judge literally orders half of the friends to transfer the favors over and help her instead of him. Summons them to court and everything.

I think you mean you get what you put into it, if you half ass your commitment to your partner then they’ll likely do the same to you & you’ll end up divorced.

Anyway interesting fact 50% of marriages fail, does this mean that romance & honour is now dead? No, the truth of the matter is that 9/10 marriages do last, it’s 1/10 who serial divorce that bring the statistic down.

The same is true for single parents. 1/4 kids are brought up with a single parent, does this mean 1 in 4 people raise their children alone? absolutely not, it means 1 in 10 people are having multiple children to multiple partners skewing the statistic for the other 9 married couples.
