This would do nothing practical to stopping ganks in the current meta.
The gank would be over before the light carrier could apply any DPS. And you would be wasting a highly trained account on escorting ships all day when you could instead be making 50 mil/hr + with that account, even in highsec.
Please try to actually play the game in the area you are making suggestions for and learn the issues to begin with.

You just have to see them in “action”. They wait until GCC to shoot, because otherwise, they get a LE, and CONCORD won’t save them.
Making gankers wait 30 seconds once they’re on grid means they will be engaged and possibly destroyed by FACPO before they can shoot their target. Essentially, your change without eliminating or at least also changing FACPO response time would end ganking.
facpo does not react to criminal. It reacts to low ss.

They’re easy if you have no outside interference, a non ■■■■ bumper with a freighter not doing dumb ■■■■ and people doing individual roles.
Gets progressively harder with 20 idiots theiving and trying to stop you and doing every role solo while bumping (which is how 99% of freighter ganks happen now)

I find it funny all the people still complaining about freighter ganking and asking for nerfs like it’s some huge problem. There’s like 2-3 guys left who even play semi regularly now and they aren’t killing much.
We don’t even want to log in anymore since the traffic and game is so bad… Who want’s to sit there and kill empties nonstop when they’re like 150mil after insurance in a trash game that barely works and is full of bots?
If I were as dishonest as people saying gankers became more organized because CCP patches made it harder, I would say that people play bots because the gankers make it now worth to play otherwise

I was talking about the DCU affect being applied to freighters which was linked to the decision to adjust wreck EHP by CCP Fozzie saying it was to balance off against that. The gankers deny that as a nerf, in actual fact that was a balance change totally in the favour of gankers, and yet you lot say it was a nerf.
