You really need to get over yourself. I don’t imagine that even your health is any good at this point. You need to just let go of it. You won’t change a damned thing and you will only hurt yourself.
The beer I’m drinking right now, I made it myself.
what’s with you guys and rl?
literally no one cares about rl on a forum about a video game…
We personally talked to the “victims”.
And discovered they were not victims.
You’ll never escape it.
The beer is Espresso Stout BTW. You can drink this stuff all night, get drunk AF but never sleepy. I got rid of a bad girlfriend because of this recipe.
You can’t talk to Herzog about a coherent subject for too long, that’d be weird!
Yep, which is the main reason I said not worth my time, and the second was the realisation that actually opposing this lame game play was keeping them interested. Of course the event that made me think about this was when CCP moved to stop AG ganking freighter wrecks when we started doing it, of course we can’t have something easy and cheap for AG can we?
It is lame useless stupid multi-boxing unbalanced game play and not worth my time and effort in game, but I can certainly point it out on the forums and I do!
I don’t want any protection from people in HS. Generally speaking they are incompetent in terms of posing a threat to me…just saying.
I don’t understand why that is off topic. Surely freighter ganking comes within the remit of gameplay that some people would suggest needs more protection from or changes to mechanics.
In this case we have learnt even though the ISD removed the really important posts from Australian Excellence that he is finding less prey and he can’t get out of bed for less than 10bn. The fact that the ISD removed Black Pedro’s excellent post is also a major negative in this thread.
Because of this, the fact that we only have people left in game that don’t care as already replaced and they have so much ISK it does not matter, so there is no salt and that people are taking more care means that your suggestion of more protection for this gameplay is answered by the simple fact that this particular gameplay is dying through extreme boredom.
The loser is Australian Excellence and your narrative, and it is totally on topic.
MEH! - at the inappropriate flags @ISD_Dorrim_Barstorlode please note the misuse of the flags
You seem obsessed with salt others supposedly mak, yet i see you attempting the same thing on the forums all the time. The only evidence that people care about salt is, in fact, you.
But yeah, I guess. It’s not wrong to claim the The Australian Excellence ruined it for himself. CODE. kind of did it too, with all the skiffs around everywhere. In a sense they made the problem worse, instead of better.
I guess me being in a 1.0 now just underlines the problem even further. Not enough people moving around everywhere. I actually hoped that in a high traffic system more people would potentially be active in local, but nope… just dead silence, just like in Hek.
Though, at least, the odds of someone trying to catch me went up, which is great! Now I also have my combat ready Tornados, so I can teach them a lesson in terms of doing potshots (is that the word?) at people they wrongly believe are easy prey.
Which reminds me… the LE timer is too short. Man, today I got to put more effort into it. Gotta set up a Raitaru, a POS and I need to grab a few hundred modules to accompany my two and a half thousand turrets. Gotta find a way to make this fun.
Hey, do you know… do I have to sit next to a Raitaru/POS when they anchor?
If not, I can do it as -10! That, at least, would be less boring.
Me obsessed with salt, you could not be more wrong if you tried, if this is you attempting to get into my head you have failed dismally.
CCP failed, they made it too easy and too cheap when they buffed the Catalyst, causing an exodus of many hisec players.
Which is what I am saying, when I started playing again in 2009 as Dracvlad, I found a vibrant hisec, I think it was in 2011 the Catalyst change, but the results are what you see now. You think it is due to less danger, I think it was due to destroying the casual player base in hisec. But it is a moot point in any case the damage is done. And Australian Excellences lack of targets is part of it.
I don’t think anyone will really bother, you might get Knowledgeminer come after you and that will be fun for you, as he is pretty damn good at blowing up people like you and will test you.
As long as you are having fun.
No you do not have to sit next to them while they anchor.
I don’t get why a causal HS player would use a JF through uedama.
I gotta reply to this when on my notebook.
I was talking about the casual players in hisec that left the game in the period when all the mining ships had the tank of a wet paper bag and the Catalyst DPS had been buffed. Not a single one of the miners I started playing with in 2009 is still active and all of them dropped during that period.
It is really an activity based thing, less players doing stuff means less events. A lot of these casual hisec players were hauling in freighters and Australian Excellence and others like him preyed on them. Their net worth in the game collapsed and they gave up, certainly the ones I got to see during my AG time, there is not the income in it to pay for the ship and collateral they lost. And they were not risk averse at all. It is funny, in that Australian Excellence is the risk averse one and they were not.
As for using a JF through Uedama, it only makes sense if you have an out cyno, I use DST’s, my DST has way more tank than a JF and can do the MWD cloak trick too. When I move expensive stuff in it there is a command ship with boosts too. It is ungankable…
yeah, so I think you can’t link casual HS players to reduction of JF ganking like you did.
I mean, HS and NS activities are not correlated.
I did not link it at all, you did. I said lack of targets is part of it, he may have recently moved onto specific ganking of JF’s in Jita, but he was ganking freighters of hisec players before.
You did it here (this post was in the context of HS activity )
You need to read it again, I said the lack of targets is part of it, I did not specifically mention JF’s, you did.
Why did he move onto specifically JF’s?
I don’t know, you should ask him. I can make several guesses but I don’t know so I won’t affirm anything.
possible reasons include
- more isk on the kb (E-P meter)
- more interesting ( isk gained per hour )
- more targets (worth it or raw)
- requested by someone else (or by friends)
- less competition (or more friends or he specializes in a team)
Simple less idiots filling freighters to silly levels of ISK. It is not rocket science to work it out, he has to maintain a large number of accounts via plex, with less targets he has to hang around more making it more difficult and time consuming and he got bored.
I would also say that the excellent post by Black Pedro which was removed by the ISD nailed it too. Pity that got deleted, was ultra lame.
Are you sure it is the only reasons ?
