No, I got distracted in o.0 and havenât been back to the Dr. Who event. Might try that Vexor this weekend.
*This event has gotten me interested in scanning/hacking again.

Iâm not familiar with Dr.Who series. It looks kind of out there, maybe a bit like that 90âs show Quantum Leap which I did like.
I donât understand how a game can mix TV show and online play. Devs made an event out of it, which tells me the two arenât compatible.
That being said, if it made some money for CCP then more power to them.

They initially said no money transaction was involved, I hadnât listened to the war Dec podcast yet. But Dr who is a time lord and time traveler, so itâs possible he could have jumped into the eve multiverse. And even though lorewise, aliens donât exist in New eden, our characters donât realize these are aliens. Itâs a one off event that has a slight lore impact, but aside from skins and apparel, you wonât see this anywhere else in eve

I do hope CCP got some money out of it because I like the game and Iâm always glad when a game company like CCP can cash in on their efforts.
I read a lot of criticism on CCP in this forum and it kind of saddens me.
I understand that players have wishes and demands and may be disappointed when those arenât implemented or even acknowledged but I do not forget that the Devs work hard to maintain such a complicated MMO with old codes dating to the days of Win2000 and some earlier iteration of DirectX.
The Devs are humans with responsibilities as well. I think itâs not fair to throw them rotten tomatoes for trying to manage such a complex game.
I think theyâre doing a good job.
And I give a great big thumb up to the artists.

Or run another site. You donât need to buy anything from the market at all. You can even completely ignore the buy event task and progress the event through the others. I know coz i have my 900 event points and havenât purchased anything. 
Thatâs why there are so many sites. There are literally systems with 20-30 of these event sites in space.

Yup I havenât bought anything in this event. For the market tasks you can actually sell the item to yourself to compete it. I just put a sell order for one of the items at 1 isk then immediately buy it as soon as I create it. Bam market task done lol.
For build tasks I got all the materials from the event itself except for a tiny bit of pyerite. Trit comes from the metal scraps. But the pyerite I got from scrapping a junk module or two I had as it doesnât require much.

I was ok at scanning before. Now it is a fairly tight set of reflexes.
I had almost never done any hacking. Now I feel comfortable with it and MWDâs around in the sites. I HATE those regen things.
