Seriously. In the Eve world SOME pictures and videos should have survived from humanity’s past. And people will always take the stuff from the past and enjoy it as cool again.
Good heavens, don’t wait. I’ve seen more regular sites than event sites out there. Now that I’ve had all this practice, I’ll be doing them too.
Seriously, that is just how I imagine it when I make some culture reference in New Eden though I might slip into a Ben Browder mode who was always making pop culture references in Farscape. His character must have known nobody else had the slightest clue. But, we the audience did.
Some will get it, some will not and some will whine yielding to humanities lower natures.
Consider the Lego movies. What makes them great are the references that make it feel like it’s kids playing in a sandbox not just a movie.
And, I quote “forums.eveonline.com EVE Online Forums Player-created empires, player-driven markets, and endless ways to embark on your personal sci-fi adventure.”
What’s the best way (or is there any way at all) for a noob to land one of those sweet scarves?
I joined the forums just to “like” this post
The only way to get the scarf afik is either to buy it in a pack for $ or buy it with isk on the market from someone that is selling theirs. The other items can come from doing the event.
This event was pretty fun.
You can get the scarf if you kill Dr Who.
But then time would implode irreparably crashing the servers and erasing all of new Eden from existence. Everyone would win Eve all at once.
That is incorrect. Dr Who is just a pleb.
Who is this doctor you speak of and why are capsuleers wearing severed rogue-drone encoding Mobius strips?
… or time travel.
I was in when I got River Song’s diary.
The Matt Smith Dr Who rebooted the entire universe.
Oh my dear, giddy Aunt…
Wash your mouth out with soap and water, for such heresy.
And then have a jelly baby.
Me who put up the idea for a LOTR event
I liked the Dr. Who event. LOTR would work as well.
Please, no Necromancy…
