miners are under the impression, that gankers must be defeated, and will spend strenuous amounts of energy towards accomplishing this task. To this end, they will explore all the ways in which to blame the developers, the state of humanity, game balance and alternate universes, for not having defeated ganking already. Miners HATE the ganker.
I am posting this thread to publicly inform the miners, that they need not be so hateful. It is a very anti-social thing to do, and EVE Online is an MMO, which relies on communication, working together and making friends with other people to accomplish goals. Hating gankers is against the spirit of the game.
Instead, I will propose the idea that the best possible thing a miner can do, is become friends with the ganker. Miners should redirect their focus from attempting to defeat an impossible foe to making great friends with them and enjoying their time in EVE. Because I think that’s what EVE Online is really about, and, as the saying goes, the best ship in EVE Online is always friendship.

i would say, instead, miners don’t understand the ganker. i’ve had some newer players, after being ganked in ventures, ask why someone would sacrifice a 2-3 million isk catalyst, to destroy a venture worth a total of less than one million.
i explained that, to some people, a kill mail is akin to a trophy from a sporting event. players like collecting these trophies, and don’t care about the stats of the opposing team. whether it’s from a scrub team, a new player, even a handicapped team, doesn’t matter.
The amount of abyssal bots and VNI bots Safety kills made me realize they are the good guys.
Miners watch too much propaganda.
Off topic comment: CCP went all they way to destroy warp core stabilizers, but auto “bot” target module stays intact. Cloak afk camp, working as intended…
Intriguing, intriguing… “If CCP wouldn’t like Safety playstyle, they would have changed it”.
I knows miners are slow so I gonna finish with some perspective: “If you hate the criminal where the State is empowering the criminal, you are in denial”. - Probably Bukele, idk.
