I think miners are fully aware why mining in high sec does not matter much. That’s why they train into Rorqs and join the rest of the carebears. Only bot’s mine high sec.
Keep dreaming.
I was hoping they do, it is good training and might even push people to start co-operating.
Of course, I mine in hisec, I know that I don’t matter, the only people it even bothers are CODE and they can’t be bothered either, barely lifting a little finer in annoyance.
Nice speeches you do for high-seccer
Wow, the butthurt is strong in that one. Talk about salty tears, he’s actually throwing a temper tantrum.
The funniest part is that he thinks he can coerce CCP into doing what he wants and dictate game direction by attacking High Sec structures.
For the longest time I’ve said I don’t like players being forced to do content (PvP or PvE) that they don’t want to do, mainly because removing freedom of choice is the quickest way to chase players away. However after listening to that self righteous dribble I now sincerely hope CCP not only continues the Drifter invasions on a regular basis but also has them start taking SoV.
Ain’t a proof of anything. I t is simply one of the few systems that as within two jumps of hisec.
Thats “perimeter” system a.k.a “collateral damage” and not “proof of being attacked”. Main “foothold” system is still HS-only.
PF- is a gateway system that is perma camped by players so no loss there to anyone tbh
After watching the " The Scope - Breaking News: Drifter Invasion" Eve Online youtube channel
It makes sense for roaming Drifter raiding fleets and the link between the wormholes.
Had any Corps/Alliance stopped closing wormholes on the systems where their structures are anchored?
There must be a link or how do they just spawn out of nowhere in a system that is not showing the cosmic anomalies and signatures?
The comment earlier on, was that the trig invasions were going into nulsec as they expanded.
It was never said trig invasions started in nullsec, two completely different things.
As it is i don’t think needs full on Trig invasions starting in nullsec, they’re got enough problems atm with the Drifter attacks.
I think that this is just hilarious, listening to that recording was awesome sauce, I am going to have fun watching this develop. The most amusing aspect of this is that Goons and other nullsec donut lords will be attacking all the people around the PIRAT merc hisec blanket war dec lords. It is a bloody great win win if I have ever seen one. Just golden, I have not laughed so hard in ages.
The impacts from this are going to be so varied and interesting it makes the game even better…
EDIT: Another aspect to consider is the sheer number of nullsec players who have hisec indy operation. This is going to be FAF
Yeah, agreed. Gotta say if anything that ‘Twist The Knife’ speech will only reinforce CCP’s decision to keep the Drifter Invasion randomly active.
What’s gonna make me laugh is when Drifters start another attack phase after GSF & Co think it’s over and disperse their forces to start attacking High Sec Structures.
I think it’s a good lesson for who think he “won” the game. No one can win at EVE
Actually I’ve seen diamond rats destroy structures in HS. I don’t know if it was intended or a coincidence but it has happened
diamond rats don’t break the shield rep, or so I was told.
I think CCP is went too far with the invasion this time they are really making the wrong people mad at them I’m going to get ready to stock up on assets because this could be a long ride
Dude, really, stop posting.
The first stage of the nullsec invasion of hisec will be all the suggested alliances trying to identify who is not one of their own nullsec players doing hisec indy. After they have finished that joy they might then find out that the majority of hisec indy has been taken off of their target list.
Then it will be the indy alts of Panfam (ignoring Horde of course, but then again many of those are Panfam too) and those linked to PIRAT in some way, which will actually be doing hisec a favour in so many ways, not ignoring the number of Goons and Imperium members who export ore and moon goo to their own indy alts who will see part of their income get taken out.
It sounds dramatic as hell, but in reality it is nothing more than postulating, and if something does actually happen, it will be one or two burn Jita type events, then the Goons will declare a crushing victory. It might even end up with CCP not liking a player or players trying to meta game them and tweak the AI to do meaningful damage, which I doubt.
But whatever happens enjoy. My biggest issue when I log in is deciding which ship to undock in, gets confusing as hell. I don’t think Goons will impact me at all.
Methinks he is trying to meta game CCP with other alliance heads, ain’t going to work…
And I just read that the CSM is against this Drifter invasion which makes it even more apparent that the CSM is too nullsec focussed. Seriously funny.
EDIT: Perhaps this is an attempt to get more people to shoot Mogul Financial.
PS I still remember a Goon telling me that nullsec would not bother coming to shoot stuff in hisec with the war dec changes. Anyway…
