Drifters vs Capsuleer's news as 10?

I agree it’s not going to work, subjugating high-sec via monetary means is a futile effort. He can mobilise GS ISK all he wants, as a player with my head “above the water” all he will do is alienate null-sec even more and possibly have some serious repurcussions with CCP. Nullies should tread very carefully the majority player base is in high-sec and if they hit CCP’s bottom line then heads may roll. CSM unaminously condemned the drifter attacks on null and the way it was handled and are also actively participating in the strangulation attempt on high-sec.
The CSM should be removed they are not fit for purpose imo. Adapt or die is the motto, not scream, cry, shout at ccp through the CSM throw your dummy out the pram. Then attack a group of players that have nothing to do with it whatsoever just to get back at a gaming company who did something you did not like. I hope the drifter attacks intensify and you all start to lose some serious assets instead of having a few structures re-inforced. You deserve what you get.

Clearly you’re either new to the game or fairly new to coming back the big block alliance as have more power then you will ever understand so I would tread lightly on what you say because I can really ruin your game the big block alliances can make your life really hard in the game trust me I know

Power in a video game is a mute point a few lines of code and the power can be taken away don’t ever forget that.

If there is EvE there is a traitor. And that traitor will get sick rich by buying cheaply in Delve and selling for a premium in Jita.

Producers in highsec will love that dick move too. When prices go up you want to make stuff. Because you don’t have to share the traders in your profits. Sell orders will work just fine. And the traders will love it too. No need for 0.01 ISK games anymore.

Delve is the region with the most ISK farming. And that ISK doesn’t stay there. Evenually it finds its way into some 4-4 traders wallet. Amusing how little the self proclaimed elite understands the game.

I don’t care one iota about the big block alliances, they cannot blow up empire stations a few lines of code sorted that out and concorde will take care of the rest. I am not new,i have nearly 130mill sp on my main high-sec toon. The big blocks are powerless and exist at CCP’s whim never forget that, bite the hand that feeds and eventually it will put you down. “Head above the water” you really do have to listen to what Mitten’s was spewing forth.

I personally have no stake in any of this I’m just a ice miner I just made some mistakes in my younger years of Eve and you don’t want to poke the bear was more what I was trying to say I stay in HS and I provide ice for my alliance

Then you will be at risk, they will come for high-sec structures the child’s paddy will be a big one. I hope that CCP’s retribution will be just as proportional. Strangely enough high-sec is geared up for this attack anyway , most structures are owned by alt corps. So the damage will be limited, thank you CCP for the wardec changes they come in handy. My advice is to take everything out of your structures un-anchor them and put them in empire stations for the next 2 month, use the empire stations in the meantime to manufacture and research take the isk loss and deny the nullies any victory. Its not rocket science, do what NC did retreat and live to fight another day. Pirat and Marmite will be paid huge sums of isk to burn high-sec structures into oblivion. It will be a multi pronged attack and sad to say its already in motion, post from Tora Bushido asking for the names of all high-sec systems is a big clue. Summer of rage was in a different era, now its classed as blackmail and CCP should not negotiate with in game terrorists. lol. Lvl 4 missions including EOM are classed as terrorists so as far as i am concerned using this anology against GS and allies both of them want to erradicate our civilization in high-sec.

Ya they are attacking highsec structures. I was helping someone kill off a large pack of trigs around their structure the other day. Massive increase in trig waves recently.

To be blunt I expect Triglavians to attack hisec structures in a more dangerous way, people need to get ready, though I am not sure if the invasion lasts long enough to actually get to the end timer?

Can you link that?

It isn’t in the Invasion Patch Notes at all (and patch notes don’t have foot notes), nor is it in the invasion expansion devblog either, so do you mean some other notes?

No idea what the structure timers are, but if CCP stays with this pace we may see longer more intense invasions soon.

I have no idea how this will pan out, I just hope that it is interesting and can be fun.

But if nullsec players like the Mittani say this is not fun and the extra effort it takes to defend againt this I would simply remind him of how much extra effort and time it had to take in moving a freighter in hisec due to his alliance having fun. And then how many hisec players cannot deal with FOB diamond rats.

It is at this point that I get to the point of thinking that they can dish it out but they cannot take it. Like Panfam for years dishing it out as the top dog and then when Goons became top dog giving up.

Human nature is so amusing at times, why do people assume that they are a special case, now if I have to suck it up moving stuff around in hisec with pretty much the same conditions as the Drifter invasion as in boring stuff with no counter, why is the Mittani so special that he cannot do what I do?

Answer me that major nullsec alliances?

I take bets. CCP will bend the knee before NS alliances. Drifters will be canceled.

Maybe with the old CCP, however this is the new CCP that doesn’t really care.

And to be honest, I’m glad of it in this one instance. The icing on the the Null cake of tears is that CCP will likely ignore their incessant entitlement rage.

It might even make the gaming sites and get a little interest for this near dead husk of a game. Nothing like the death of an empire to get people back in New Eden again. Like slowing down to gawk at a car wreck.

Really? Multipronged from PIRAT and Marmite?

Good luck with that.

Drifters are nothing short of extreme alpha damage when encountering them.

Most won’t take the Drifters on because of pride in losing a blinged out ship to a NPC when they can gate camp and smart bomb or death nuke shuttles all day long.

Fighting Drifters takes a concentrated effort and planning that is really different than sit on the gate death nuke and then warp out.

I have fought the Drifter twice on purpose. The first one took out my Nemesis before it was even able to warp out. Then second time was to try and draw the fire of two drifter ship away from two bling Invasion ships that someone in the fleet fired on when they had been told not too.

There is no warning for engaging Drifters…the only word you need to remember is “Don’t.”

See if i can find it, though someone has already posted the scope video about the drifter attacks.

I’m holding back my stocks now, and wait for better profits. Destruction is, what EvE needs, lots of destruction.

… but I don’t think goons will invade highsec to bash structures, the most boring activity you can think about.

More fun than constantly defending structures against bots.
