I love how you dodged actually admitting that the PCU graph shows that the count has not been constantly dropping and was going up from late last year prior to all the lockdowns.
And instead went right back to posting your rumour mongering falsehoods.
It helps if you translate all the doom and gloom prophecies of that particular part of pve players to “help, i don’t know how to play and am not flexible enough to adjust and adapt”. All this nervousness because of a teaser/trailer ? Priceless and predictable.
something something a wave of forum vomit onto people who dont play to your exact style. Which is what, null sec fuelled by bot fleets of 24/7 miners. Why do you hate yourself so much?
@Solstice_Projekt is a hisec miner, with a sideline in wardeccing others for mining what he considers to be his ore or having a structure where he wants to place his.
that rule states that people tend to believe what they’re most afraid of, especially the worst things they dream up themselves. That is also the polite version of the rule.
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it’s true, or because they are afraid it might be true.
Although I prefer Pratchett to Goodkind.
A wizard without a hat is just a sad man with a suspicious taste in clothes; which takes us back to my initial reply
Also, a person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals.
That is true. The difficult part is that the very vocal part of the community is so polarized that whatever the devs do, with the best of intentions and plans, it results in shouting, threats or announcements of canceling subs, etc, on both “sides”. Personally I don’t favor pve nor pvp, I do both in more than one aspect and can’t even understand why someone would be locked into a single aspect. When I don’t know how to deal with the new curve ball ccp throws I do another part of the game until I think I’ve found a solution or the group I’m associated with found one.
“Locking” one’s self into a particular activity is usually to focus on grinding one type of content. Like missions, null ratting, gate ganking, relic site running/ganking, or even mining.
Spreading yourself across many activities isn’t impossible. It’s just usually better to pick one or two activities to specialize in for making isk, or just having some fun.
Myself, I like to mine for relaxing, go do trig invasions or abyss, sometimes I even like to run level 4 missions just for the salvage and LP. But, I couldn’t imagine spreading myself much further than that. Even with just those few activities, it’s difficult to spread myself over them.
Hey @Darlo_Kubika, this post is just to let you know that just because most of us cannot even be bothered to read your diatribes most of the time, much less care to reply, that doesn’t mean we don’t think you’re a repugnant person.
And just to be clear, what makes you repugnant aren’t your “opinions”. What makes you repugnant is that you cannot refrain yourself from spamming these forums pretending the game should be changed for everyone and turned into something else entirely different, just because you happen to not like it, when you could simply go play some other game you like instead, which is what any sane person in your situation would do…
Banding into groups isn’t an issue, and needs no cure. The blue donut conspiracy theory, on the other hand, is rather stale and highly inaccurate. The donut is really more heavily glazed with red with, perhaps, a few blue sprinkles. ‘Blue donut’ implies that nullsec is nothing but a lovefest, full of peace and singing kumbaya by the burning campfire of oh-so-dangerous highsec; a donut where players would never think to engage in PvP. The idea of a blue donut is ludicrous and highly naive. All it is, is so much whining and pining for a game with absolute safety in highsec, like the myth pretends is the case in nullsec. EVE is not a game of absolute peace; even the lore shows that the empires were bloodthirsty and that ‘peace’ is only CONCORD-deep in this universe.
On that note, I honestly think the highsec power struggle will not be between the empires or between lowsec and highsec. Consider that while CONCORD has traditionally been the police of highsec, keeping miners, both legit-ish and botters, somewhat safe from gankers, the Triglavians have been acting a bit like police in highsec, keeping active players, both miners and gankers, safe from botters and multiboxers with 20+ accounts all linked together in perfect sync - a sort of new NPC version of CODE. That’s the power struggle; which police with which set of ‘laws’ will control highsec? I, for one, welcome the new order under which players must play the game instead of letting bits of shady programming do it all for them.
