So, I’m a nut for knowing PvP occurs in all regions of space and that sometimes players set other groups to red? Cool story, bro. I’m guessing that if you haven’t seen any PvP in game, you must be using a PvP bot. Weird flex, but ok.
FYI, only one is in the middle, but I guess you missed that.
You know very little as you dont have the play time or experience to ACTUALLY know these things.
Anyone can pull numbers from somewhere and hazard a guess at what it might mean, but it’s simply not that easy.
REMEMBER, there are two types of people in this world:
First there are those that can extrapolate from incomplete data.
I had a look, it seems to get stuck at 20 pages, theres 20 pages of high sec kills as well except a substantial chunk of those null losses are pods, with low values, like as low as 10000 isk. Granted alot of the kills shown for high sec are ganker boats with pretty dismal net values too though. But alot more than 10000 isk.
Though i got a kick out of the guy in a mining barge who was killed in a 0.9 system by a blood raider punisher. That must have been some afk!
Those blood raider punishes actually pack a real bite. Especially in a pack of 5. They are equivilant to the Trigs everyone complains about. 30 seconds in a low tank barge and you are toast.
oh is that one of those forward operations things i have read about? If it is, I have no idea what the deal is but I have heard of some sort of super brutal npc forces that arent trigs, in vague passing lol
In short. Yes. imagine a player piloted faction fitted all V skilled punisher. times 5 in a squad. And that’s the light version of the roaming patrols.
However they are fairly old, can be seen on Dscan and only appear in FOB systems. So far less common than Trigs. But still if you don’t know about them they’ll toast a barge in the time it takes you to grab a glass of water.
This acceleration gate is not configured to handle your Jackdaw.
Really? Gate takes command destroyer but not jackdaw??
Where’s the patch notes at? …
They delivered
Time to break out the screwdrivers and take the damn thing apart.
it still is funny though to imagine if it was just a generic belt rat frigate shooting at someone for several minutes lol. The person comes back and is like… well dang…
think it might just be the event that went live today and patch proper tomorrow?
NEW SHIPS!NEW SHIPSNEW SHIPS
Anyone that wasn’t blindly caught in the hypewagon of the VR saw from a light year away that VR woudln’t take of no mater what.
Spending resources on a MMORPG at the time (and since) was a stupid idea and the best way to burn as many money as possible.
And you can’t put 2 and 2 together and get why investors sold? Or why CCP didn’t had the cash go simply buy themselves back?
Cmon, stop trying to pretend a long series of very poor decision on CCP management part isn’t the reason.
Uhuh… I mean, it’s always obvious in hindsight. But I bet you would have been right here bashing CCP if CCP had said “Nope, we don’t think VR has a future” then it actually did take off.
They made great VR games, they didn’t take away from EVE’s development to do so since you can’t just throw money at an existing Dev team and expect it to suddenly double.
We can discuss poor decisions when it comes to EVE, but CCP’s venture into the VR market was most certainly not a bad decision. Even the WoD MMO wasn’t a bad management decision to pursue. It might not have been handled particularly well, but even that is a guess, it may have just been a dream that wasn’t achievable in the manner they wanted to make the game. The rest of the non EVE ventures? All good choices to build the games. There might have been mis-steps along the way with how they handled some of them that could have given them a longer life or better profit, but that’s different from saying they shouldn’t have followed the idea at all.
The only real poor decision was in them trying to bankroll an mmo themselves when literally every other company had switched to the crowdfunding model of paying for mmo development. World of Darkness was and is an IP that a lot of people get excited about and a well developed mmo for it probably would have easily been profitable. Building an mmo from from the ground up is expensive, especially if you’re trying to do things for it like build it’s own engine from scratch. If you don’t have $20-50 million sitting around to burn you will likely fail.
quite honestly now that the new patch notes have been released Alpha Ganking is going to be the new normal so i would consider myself ahead of the game at this point.
I’m not saying I hardly ever played at all, merely that I’m not on EVE 20+ hr.s a day spending all my time in PvP. I really have to wonder if it’s all the Pandemic koolaid you’ve been swilling or if you may be a new player who just bought an old character off the bazaar, but if you don’t know that PvP happens while boasting you have more PvP kills than me, there’s clearly a major level of disconnect going on in your head.
That’s not me extrapolating from incomplete data; that’s you boasting that you are an expert at something you claim doesn’t exist.
My point exactly. PvP happens everywhere. Although a guy getting killed by Blood Raiders isn’t PvP - it’s PvE.
Personally, I find it odd that a certain someone has so many nullsec kills on his character, who still wants to argue that PvP doesn’t happen in nullsec and can’t seem to see the irony in his own argument.
Nah mate, you dont have a scooby doo but feel you are ‘in the know’, your not, your just another idiot with an opinion about something you know nothing about.
