Hey Syeed - thanks for the idea. The problem I’m having is that 4/5 of the times I got destroyed I was on my way (warping) after selecting a destination and then ctrl+S
So, they were around a gate I needed.
they have gun starts in a bunch of systems it does not matter if he goes and does that he will get blaped if he ever tries to go there

Huh, that’s never happened to me. Maybe because I don’t PVE at all I don’t have any standings or something. They just seem to ignore me unless I loiter on the gate with them for a long period.

if your align speed is higher than 4 seconds there is a good chance of you getting caught, Null secors usual come to high in fast align/warping ships which is why they don’t have those problems usually.
My group has an Edencom system 2 jumps from our home in low sec and they get caught there constantly becuase they are too lazy to go to pochven quickly and just fix it, it drives me crazy.
Its a small time investment for the rest of the game’s worth of advantages.
Yeah I definitely fly slower ships without any issues, and have for years. Maybe I smell good or something. Maybe they like me. Mosquitoes don’t really bite me either.
The only time I got blown up I saw a bunch of wrecks on a gate and thought that it would be fine to loot them. I was probably there for a full minute or more before being shot at.
Yea they don’t always camp the gate they seem to warp between belts / planets / the solar harvester by the sun and the gates so you seem to be a really lucky fellow.
Now I’m Jealous lol.
Well gents, real life is now intruding on Eve time so I will have to figure out filaments later. But at least I have a survivable path. For now. Resonance - thanks for all the help. You are keeping my spirits up and giving me a little hope
