Equinox in Focus: Reinvigorating Nullsec

You understood right.

But do people also understand that even those that do not overextend themselves, like the ones cramming 20k members into a single region, were limited drastically by the sov requirements/mechanics based on reagents, power, workforce ? Or understand that sov space is not there to humor would-be robbers 24/7 without even basic trip wire alerts on vital infrastructure ? Or even understand that there was no other option but to rob one’s own Skyhooks, lol ?

That said robbers are now salty because of the latest changes, everyone understands and expects. And many level headed players think “well, that was clearly unbalanced, changes were due, weren’t they”.

not unbalance, just nullsecs that don’t want to undock to defend their own stuff, as alwasy.

Of course the first implementation wasn’t very good. But the changes aren’t good either. Artificial invulnerability-windows as another interaction mechanic with special rules besides the normal structure-interaction system in an already overcomplex game that scares so many potential players because of the sheer number of rules and exceptions to learn and know… sorry. There would have been better solutions.

They should have begun with balance tweaks, not going right into the other extreme.

Im gonna say simply, no.

Salty dullseccers.

Do you not see how little content there is in nullsec atm? advocating for more safety features will not resolve that; be more like init and actually undock when people are in your space.

Bet your one of them folks that wanted to join a nullsec alliance ‘‘for farming only, i dont want to pvp’’

Now there’s a surprise …

There’s no big war atm, that is true. Everyone has gone home and is awaiting the final part of Equinox. I wonder why. If you think that robbers are a substitute for the fights that we like to participate in, think again.

You’d lose your money, lol.

We from INIT. would appreciate it if you came with a bigger fleet, so that we get on more killmails. Thank you.

The Skyhook robbery business was certainly bringing content, though that patch last week tanked the market and with the vulnerability mechanics coming into play soon the writing is on the wall.

Look at the ESS, up until last week there was constant flow of stabbers robbing ESS in what had been a otherwise unpleasant mechanic. It was quite interesting to see, for the most part mining would be the assumed domain of botters, but the stabber bots showed how truly bottom of the barrel ESS has fallen as a gameplay.

Now its back to the old days of nano kitey groups warping to ESS, burning off several hundred kilometres before fillamenting away.

Its sad really.

your personal kb is gash, but i am surprised someone from arguably the best pvp nullsec alliance is whining about pvp.
But then they do need numbers and to fill that void they do often accept anyone willing to jump into fleets, anchor and press f1.

I can also verify that you do not speak for the whole of INIT.

well theres no other way to get people to fight i guess and that coupled with many nullseccers simply wanting to drop caps on anything including a solo merlin can you blame people for using grid to their advantage?

Theres a lot that can be done to remedy all of that but providing safety for null sov folks isnt one of them.

huh ? criticizing sov mechanics, dude, not pvp, and not even your chosen style of pvp.

I like it when ccp creates opportunities for these people to dump some steam, acid and salt.

Never said I did, mate. Only Shines speaks for us. However, I know a few things about the shared enthusiasm for typical nullsec pvp, you know (more likely you just do not know), fleet pvp.

If SOV doesn’t come with a level of safety, why would it even have a reason to exist, or tempt people to achieve sov space. You’ve had time since 2007 to figure that out. So what’s your excuse ?
