Eve Bots - are they a bad thing, is CCP complicit in their use?

Which?

Law and Rule are not the same thing

Both.

Ok you asked two different questions, worded almost exactly the same, then laugh when you trip someone up on the change.

You really are showing me, huh?

Re-read the sequence of posts.

You are confusing what happened before, with what happened after.

They are two different things.

And no Im not answering questions about RL that are unconnected to EvE.

All TOS/EULA violations are RL.
Its the person that owns the account that is responsible/culpable, not the ingame capsuleer which doesnt even exist except virtually and is owned by CCP completely.

I understand this can be difficult to comprehend, but I promise you, it is so.

And that wasnt your question.

So are you going to ask one about EvE rules, already knowing my answer but without semantically constructing a situation where you can claim I dont have a problem with RL crime?

Or is that too hard for you?

You’ve made your position clear.

You have no issue with persons RL violating the CCP TOS/EULA.

Unless they are myself or my friends, correct.

Its not my job to care, you see.

And I dont profit from it.

That conditional is not relevant.
Nobody cares who are your friends today, tomorrow, or yesterday.
Nor is your own choice relevant, unless it violates TOS/EULA or other laws.

All violations ot TOS/EULA, whether by you, your friends, or anyone else are RL breaches of contract and in some cases criminal offenses.

Your “opinion”, or whom you personally hold accountable, has no bearing on that.

Your opinion, and whom you apply it to, doesnt mean a damn.
All bots are violating TOS/EULA.

Incorrect, I do, so please try to say less incorrect things if you insist on pedantry.

And why should I care if you or anyone else cares what my opinion is on the EULA?

For something that doesnt matter you have expended a lot of time on it.

And what has this gained you?

You do love stating obvious points that no one has disagreed with.

We have expended equal time.

This has gained me that you are outed as someone that doesnt care about TOS/EULA, unless you or your friends violate them.

Its also gained me the pleasure of smashing your head, virtually, against the curb.

Nobody, especially not CCP, gives a ■■■■ about your convenient excuses for botting.
Everyone is subject to the TOS/EULA IRL.

By stating you dont care about botting, youve stated you dont care about, or agree with, the TOS/EULA which you signed.

Botting is categorically against TOS/EULA, whether its you, your friend or anyone else, and you signed those agreements.

And what?

Lol if you think that this incredible revelation you have discovered is equal metahorically to smashing a womans head open on a kerbstone, you have some serious issues, man.

I dont care about it. I really dont.

If that offends you I invite you do to something about it.

Like I did what 20 posts ago?

You are impotent and full of rage. I feel sorry for you.

You signed agreements which explicitly disallow botting.
It doesnt matter if its you, or your “friends” or anyone else that is botting.
You agreed, by signing, that it is disallowed for EVERYONE.

Yet here you are, claiming it only matters if its you or your friends doing it.

Yes.

And does it mean I have to have an opinion on it?

No.

And is it evidence Im involved in botting?

No.

So what does that leave you with?

Nope.

Nothing to do with it mattering.

Only that I dont care what happens.

Doesnt it occur to you that I dont care because I have nothing to worry about?

Surely a being of such superior intellect as you can see that.

Your “opinion” is contrary to the TOS/EULA you agreed to.
Nobody is allowed to bot, not you, your friends, or anyone else.

According to you my opinion doesnt matter, so are you saying it does now?

Pretty sure that theres no “thought crime” clause in the EULA
