Eve Concurrent Average Online under 20k now :(

Thats not how bots, CCP or cancer work

The issue is they turned one of the hard-core zones into the farm zone. Or so the story goes. And it all flows from there.

You never learn … Correlation is not causation.
Just because you have a drop in NPC kills AND a drop in player count, does not mean that the drop in NPC kills is because of the drop in player count.

so no, it’s not pretty safe to say that

All it shows, is that you are lying on purpose. An idiot with an agenda.

While correlation is not causation in this case we have correlation plus occams razor.
Either the people not logging in are the ones who were farming before… .
Or those people changed their activity while the PVPers are the ones now not logging in…

One of these is worlds more likely than the other on a large scale.

And still it’s not a causation.
Just because it fits your narrative does not change how logic works.

Or just people changed their activities. AND at the same time people left. Just like, for example, every null alliances had forbidden caps rating.

And even if that is wrong, it still does no mean that, just because you can’t think of another reason, an arbitrary relation is correct.

Let’s also not forget that the massive influx of new players and old returning players because of the wardec changes are right around the corner.

They will storm the servers every minute now…

About to happen…

I will sit somewhere in a corner of this thread and wait

Nicolai.

The current PCU reflects the actual playercount far more than it did pre-blackout. Plus, the goons got message not to undock their big ships to rat until they’ve found a way to deal with the new cyno situation, which is affecting the daily login numbers.

The real worry is: How to get those back who actually cared.

A big problem is CCP believing they need to cater to rookies, which just isn’t going to work unless they undo the damage they’ve done to highsec. Taking care of the rookies is important, but it’s not the first step.

Seems nullbears are not logging in. Thank God. I left EVE at 2017 after i realised that all scary tales about how scary null-sec, how hard-balled people live there and play territory wars is a big lie.

I wonder why people like this contentless boring thing and whine all the internet about CCP should bring it back:

You could easily go to null-sec as a day 1 player, joing a big alliance corp, you didn’t need any friend or anything, just apply, send API key, go here, and farm your ass until you can farm your ass with a carrier, all that in a safe environment where if some neut shows up 5-10 jumps away on local, everybody just docked in and wait until he leave, then going back to farming.

That was the cold dark depth of null sec space, where tough “vets” lived. Lol. And now they can’t do anything with the Blackout. Lol. 90% of them are just biggest carebears than the avarage high-sec mission runners.

They need time to adapt.
But you can be sure people will keep adapting.

Too much, I’m currently (carefully) cashing out expecting most resource prices to tank with less building of big stuff going on, and strong increase of moon mining in highsec.

I hope they will adapt. Some goonswarm guy said in r/eve that now they are so committed that they order everybody to be online in voice chats, use proper fits, etc… And they are the biggest and strongest alliance in EVE? Lol. The only thing why they are the winners of EVE because they are big in numbers and can farm the most. Apart from that they are just carebears. EVE should be the game where the most clever (and adaptable, etc) organizations are the best, not the ones that have the most farm-zombies.

Well it means living in NS will need more activity, more preparation, even for mining in a rorqual or killing 500 rats/h in a super.

Hopefully people will enjoy more the game with one active alt than when multiboxing 10 accounts.

This one.

My lot are moving into High Sec training & recruitment, for people to then ship out to Null. Because of the new skill point tally for Null Pilots being larger.

I still think that Blackout is too much, but the CCP Gods are the CCP Gods.

Thank you CSM for making a game many many fewer want to play.

I think the player-base has “cried wolf” so many times over the years about things that CCP isn’t even listening this time.

Oh hello there Solecist. time for your bi-annual sojourn to the game is it? Not sure who “you’” is, since I barely shot a red cross since 2014. Oh no, I’ve been against these idiotic changes from the beginning of the Rubicon roadmap, along with a few other prescient individuals, like the always wonderful Tippia.

Unfortunately all concerns were drowned out by the hopeless CCP white knights and fanboys. Always reliable zealots of the status quo. Well no doubt the status quo today is on the side of the hunters, but yet, if that were to change tomorrow, surely you will all convert like Saul on the road and we’d be hearing about what a huge mistake it all was. So all your words end up meaningless.

I don’t actually care what happens at this point. But self delusion and clinging to false hope are both such deeply unattractive traits.

Nullsec alliances ignore botters in their systems.

CCP starts blackout to stop botters.
