Personally I haven’t been playing Eve on pc that long and if this is pretty close to the same in functionality I’ll likely switch completely.

It is reason why PA bought CCP, PA want to enter Chinese and Asian mobile game market, CCP provide only IP and … nothing more.
Do not be so exited about this this is not for Europe and USA this is not for CCP, this is part of real big bussines in Asia.
I personally think it could be an awesome addition for mobile gameplay
