EVE Frontier on Linux (evefrontier install).
I’ll just point out to others that (after a lot of trying
)
I got EVE-Frontier ( EVE Frontier )
to work on a Linux
operating system ( Fedora (XORG)).
With the program Lutris ,
with settings:
Runner: Wine ,
Executable: “/home/you-username/Games/eve-frontier/drive_c/users/you-username/AppData/Local/eve-frontier/EVE Frontier.exe”
Wine version: “GE-Proton (Latest)”
Enable DXVK: [on].
I couldn’t find a solution with other settings, but I honestly don’t know what I did
I’ll try to get Bottles to work too, Eve Online works better for me with Bottles.
I just don’t like the (expensive/paid and resource-intensive) Windows operating system and would like it if games were also supported on the Linux (free and less resource-intensive) operating system (so that the game can use the hardware’s capabilities to the maximum, i.e. for a better gaming experience).
