What ‘‘learning curve’’ ?

Awesome! That means I’m not going to run out of easy and helpless newbros to erase from the game! \o/

There is still a learning curve!
It may not be dying but it is a shadow of its former self in terms of active players on at any time.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say a “shadow”. The highest I ever saw it was around 50k at peak daily back during the Apocrypha expansion. We have been hitting 35 at peak lately. That’s hardly a shadow.
Character farmers………making accounts all day, not an increase, just more of the same.
How many of those are multi boxers though?

Most of the new accounts are either
- Alts of someone who already plays
- not staying for long
- geniunely new players who will fall in love with the endless opportunities and will rise to glory and power, forge empires and rival the existing powers in an endless war for dominiance (yeah sure…)

Yesterday, I saw over 30k players active on Tranquility, far from “dying”…
How many legit active players are behind that number, though? Only CCP knows how many of that 30 k are multiboxers but I’m willing to wager the numbers of alt accounts active are statistically significant.
Probably still the same as the last time we heard from CCP about that. Most players only have one account, although the average accounts per player is more than one.
I just saw a 30+ multibox fleet instant jump and align. There’s rules against these tools but its never enforced, so multiboxers just get more ridiculous.
If all the ships are the same fit with all the alts having the same Navigation skill, you get a fleet of ships that align at the same speed when you press “Warp Fleet To.”
Does this matter? it is the highest number I have seen since I started playing in 2020 (in my time zone which is off-peak), so the trend is clearly upwards.
The sky is not falling & the game is not dying it’s just not what it used to be. There is a difference.
