Yeah, true. In my opinion it has already died and people are just in denial about it’s comatose state. Ten years ago I already saw entire fleets of multiboxers of identical characters. In the beginning of my gaming career, I thought a MMORPG was a bit like a TTRPG. You can imagine my shock when I realized Eve was all about trying to not give yourself way by talking at all. It’s what inspired my recruitment-at-gunpoint thing back in the day.
It’s bad news if EVE IS NOT DYING! “EVE IS DYING” is a symbolic quote of eveonline longetivity . CCP is sending a bad signal here.
I’m a returning player and i don’t find the learning curve that bad. The new Air Career Programs are a great addition to the game and make it easier to get back into things. I think most for the crying comes from null corps who just want more fodder for their grinders.

rules were stated simply by ccp before, if you break the rules and don’t bother other players ccp is not going to seek you out. if you generate complaints then your toast. So multibox all you want but keep up the killing spree and suffer later.
