EVE launcher - v 1564277, Mac OS 10.14.6, Client Launch failure

Taking a look at my EVE LogLite the following message is presented:

CustomWebPage(0x60000223c1e0) “showError(‘Client launch failure’, ‘Could not find file [/Users/userName/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/SharedCache//wine/bin](/Users/username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/SharedCache/wine/bin)/wine64’, 10)”

I have attempted completely removing EVE & wine without success.

looks like the Launcher is trying to locate a incorrect directory (adding a double “//” while look for the wine/bin directory.

Could not find file [/Users/username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/SharedCache // wine/bin](/Users/username/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/SharedCache/wine/bin)/wine64’, 10)"

I am having the same issue, the wine64 does not exist in the folder. Below are the contents

I have solved the problem.
Open launch setting, then general settings.
Do not choose “Run game client as a 64 bit application”

I just get a black screen after starting the account. I have tried running the game with/without 64 bit, with dx9, cleared the cookies, cleared the cache. I´m not sure what is happening and the support team has stopped answering me.

The lack of support on such a glaring issue and lack of testing on this is horridness. How could you forget to bundle the wine64 executables with the installer. Its now been 3 days without a response.

I have been having the exact same problem and I don’t know how to fix it; I have already tried the 64 bit trick too.

never mind, I restarted my Mac and and used the launcher and it worked
