Thanks for everyone’s comments on this issue. I actually wrote it more about the more recent sale package and not the Zakura one. Though both were frustrating. I had thought of going back and argue with a GM regarding the Zakura pack, but decided it wasn’t worth it. Even if I got a couple more months of MCT time it would still mean I would have to at some point purchase it to continue afterwards.

With the 3 Month Omega and 3 Months of MCT pack offered, for me the small additional cost over the base omega subscription made it possibly worth it. My biggest frustration was that they continued to post the ad for 26 hours after it was already expired. Should I have paid more attention to expiration times, yes. Having only recently returned I haven’t gotten used to the use of game time and converting it to my local timezone. I even understand that if I missed it because it expired, that’s all on me. My argument was more, if you post something and it looks like a valid ad (such as on the Eve launcher app), then it should be available for purchase.

I think their actions say a lot about them as a company, which for me, isn’t positive.

I shouldn’t be surprised after all there enough players in the game yelling they have 1 million ISK contracts available, but when you click on it, they are actually for 1 billion. They are obviously hoping to catch someone, and probably have. They are in an environment where that is considered acceptable. There will always be someone out to try and take advantage of another.

After further research, in the future, if I continue to play, I will just start a second account for another avatar instead of messing with the whole MCT/MPT thing. It’s actually cheaper to pay for another Omega avatar then spend the money on an multiple characters on the same account. After looking into it, I am not even sure if there are any benefits to having 2 avatars on the same account.

Well, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who said something or just gave it a read. It allowed me to examine some different perspectives. Some of which I likely would not have considered otherwise.

more than 2 on one account are more or less good for PI toons. But since neither can be logged in at the same time. other than just passive isk making like PI, its not really worth IMO having two on one account.

There can be very good reasons to train chars on the same account, chars that you don’t need to multibox but you DO need to be omega. Basic hauling alts, PI, trade alts, FW alts etc etc etc.

Creating a new account for a char that needs to be omega means you have to pay extra omega every month, if it can do its “job” while being on the same account as your main you only pay one omega per month.
