EVE Online: Invasion - Known Issues

I had a similar issue with invasions not showing correctly in the Agency yesterday; it persisted for some hours, even. Re-logging solved it though.

I’ve not encountered any serious issues since the patch. Love the new content. Client seems more stable if not necessarily faster. Thanks!

Agency is now not showing the current system for signatures - it doesn’t show it all despite there being a signature there.

Also, when the agency button flashes to show you there is something new is there any way of seeing what is new as I can’t see any sort of indicator to help find it?

One highsec incursion , no spawn happening . Not in the patch notes CCP nerfed incursion spawn. I like the laid back social PvE and now they screwed it up. Fix, or I am outta here, and I’m not the only one. Good luck with “Eve Forever” if you insist on alienating your loyal playerbase.

Yes, way to sound like a reasonable adult. Keep working on it.

For those of us that no longer read adolescent rage, what is the issue you are reporting?

You want more high sec incursions? Less?
If you want to run incursions and there is one, why are you not running it?

@CCP_Falcon is it a possible bug that the T2 ammo and factional/officer weapons aren’t gaining skill bonuses from specialization skills?

Seems odd a T2 weapon with lower damage mod using T2 ammo has a higher dps, than a factional weapon higher damage mod using same T2.

Funny thing is heaps of abyssal missioning gila have died using their missile/drone boat fits.

Seems many failed to read the information.

Sure does look that way.

Assuming that abyssal space and invasions would be similar cost some people.

Hard lessons are the ones that stick with you, and others are learning from them as well.

I was having laugh with a m8 on discord at the 28 pages of zkills that the npc invasion fleets generated in the first day.

Some marauders, heaps and heaps of gila, griffens, t3’s, you name it you’d likely find it in the kill list.

Most fits were drone fits early on, though look at fits later you still see them.

The loot was actually really good in the surrounding low sec system :] we used kiting hawks and an alt on a salvager and made billion’s with 0 competition, imagine everyone knew that the loot was quad the value in low sec instead of high sec they would actually go down there and fight for it.

working as intended. Read the specialization skill effect and don’t skip words.

Seem strange rare weapons don’t gain the specialization skill benefit other than ammo.

Specially they cost more, require more to make than t2,

In that image show the no T2 weapons have high damage mods, but due to the % gain T2 weapons with T2 ammo, make it no even worth while doing PVE content to get factional or officer weapons and ammo.

Remember this was talked about 3years ago and had the same question asked back then.

Weapons costing currently anywhere from 10x to 100x the value of T2 with same ammo doing less damage makes no sense, even if they have a small bonus to certain specs.

This comment three years ago is how specialization skills should work.

Perhaps the specialization skills need to switch focus to increasing the damage of t2 ammo rather than the damage of the t2 gun…

Ideally the specialization opens the T2 weapons and ammo, but the +2% only applies to the ammo, this would encourage players to train higher lvls whether they use T2 or Factional/Officer weapons.

This is stated by another back in 2016.

After careful thought about the spec skills, probably the easiest to implement and most fair would be to have the weapon spec skills apply to all weapons of that type, not just ones that skill unlocks. So you still get the damage bonus per level, but instead of it just working for T2 guns, it works for T1-officer of that gun type.

That would make a clear progression of modules starting with T1 at the bottom and officer at the top like every other module in the game.

@CCP_Falcon this why i addressed the question to you and not the community.

That was written before it was officially annouced and then put on the live server that factional and officer weapons can now use t2 ammo.

Ever thought someone forgot to change the description and the ingame skill effects.

Think big picture, not closed book.

The “Find in personal assets” search is now broken and only finds some items.
When an item is not found through the exact search, if you change the search text away from “typeExact” to some keyword, it will find them.

I answered your question.
There was not big picture in your question.
Just “is it a possible bug ?”. I answered to you : no. Now shove that big picture in that place of yours where the sun never shines may you ?

  • faction launchers either eat less CPU and deal few less damage, or eat same CPU but gain 3-5% DPS.
  • faction turrets deal less damage (5.3% less than max skill T2) but reduce fitting /capa use

faction turrets allow you to have correct fitting and change the compact modules to normal/T2 ones on small ships. The loss in DPS is noticeable but can be negated by using more/better damage mods.

I agree though that faction turrets need the missing part (those that are 3% more DPS than T2 and have same fitting ). eg the shadow serpentis 150 mm railgun would be better with a 4.11 damage multiplier instead of its 3.781 .
This opinion of mine, however, does not make the current state of the game, a bug.

can you update this know issues list ?

and the latest patch has no patch notes about it.

CCP you need to pull your heads out of your arses. People are really seething over this ■■■■■■■■ with the incursions/Invasion. You’re going to end up with Jita riots 2.0.

OO jita riot’s instead of shooting a statue come protest by moving out of high sec and leaving it empty then CCP will learn come shoot each other in low rather.

You know what really compliments pew pewing in lowsec (as long as you dont pod).

Running incursions in high for ISK and security status. That way instead of training a jump freighter alt to keep yourself supplied in low and to sell loot. You can just train another dread alt that you can drop on people for the larger fights.

CCP, incursions are not spawning correctly. please fix
