I have no intention of getting a refinery or mining, but I did check out the 3d models in the Info.

Absolutely stunning artwork and attention to detail. It is really first class work. I found myself looking at it for quite some time, even wondering how all the things worked, and what they did, as if it were an actual thing.

Awesome job, whoever worked on that. I really tip my hat to the artists at CCP.

54% no longer exists: max is 53% thanx to the rig nerf (as for the extra 1%, it is almost pointless now)

Unanchoring a Citadel takes 7 days, and the new Citadels are hardly free, and in short supply

I thought I read somewhere that CCP was going to re-imburse the cost of replacing our old, outdated, POS’s that we have anchored.
Is this correct and if so when is this going to happen?
It will become quite costly to replace the POS’s that are out there.

Yes I had read about the new Refineries. There was no mention of nerfing the rigs and the stations. While I can not confirm the nerfing of the stations, most owners I know have seen an increase in fuel used by the refinery module. Yes it is hard to wait, as none of the station for 6 jumps have reinstalled their rigs after the patch. As I am a newer player I don’t have the massive stores of minerals that older players have.

Just some feedback on Resource Wars. I think the rewards you get from the LP store are perfect, maybe a little lack luster but I get what you are going for and I like it!

But they cost FAR too much! 2 million ISK for 600k worth of equipment is not worth it. This means that doing Resource Wars is less profitable than mining veldspar. A cheap non maxed alpha gets est 50k per minute = 3.5m an hour mining Veldspar, you’re lucky to get 1m from Resource Wars an Hour.

Please make Resource Wars worth doing, they are fun so you are half way there already!

Hi,

Why change the slots of rifter frig, give more bonus but dont change the slots. Dont ruin the best ship on eve. At this time rifter layout looks like a amarr not a minmatar.

Please change that.

Mining Expeditions are fun, but the fun gets spoiled because of this:

  1. The restriction that all members need to have proper standing to enter a level x expedition is too strict and makes it hard to include noobs or form up fleets for higher levels. Do it like in case of regular missions. It should be enough that one person meets the standings. If one person with proper standings enter the gate, then the gate should be open for everyone (for a minute or so).

  2. There seem to be no need or benefit to bring fighting ships… with Ventures you are so much faster (at least for level 1, 2 and maybe 3). Add some benefit for brining fighting ships without making miners obsolete. For example there could be an enemy hauler, which will change the side for us, if we kill all enemy NPC’s. This could then result in 50% ores being delivered by the enemy hauler changing the side.

  3. I like the approach that you are limited to ships of one faction… but why can’t I bring the faction ships of the faction, e.g. Firetail in case of Minmatar?

The slots of the guns of rifter are very unbalace, you have 2 on top ( 1 on center and other next to ) , 2 on sides and 3 below ( 2 on front and 1 on back). Is not good to see the layout of guns.

I am very concerned about the fact that there are many corps in the game who are shooting refineries for the sake of it.

Correction, I don’t care of that… but I care about the fact that it is very, VERY easy to find them. You just have to use ESI to retrieve the cost indexes of all systems, and compare by an earlier retrieval of the same data. If reaction index has changed, that means there is a refinery at this location.

So there are many corps who do some “search & destroy” of refineries, but there isn’t any need of “search” here. It is a problem as refineries are somewhat critical to get reactions, and low sec was already seriously disavantaged with this new changes.

With ESI, there isn’t any point to use low sec for moon operations as it is too easy to find out where to shoot, period. It was already nearly dead, but here is the coffin.

It is a few like the old Teams. If you saw a R&D team of critical importance in a specific system (as their location was public information), you knew that there are some important POSes to shoot there. So R&D teams wasn’t really used…

It would be good to remove this information from the ESI. Too much intel can kill content.

negative

  • Unless these things pay as good as lvl 4 mission or better ppl wount do them
  • combat pilots are not necesery they hinder the site times you can just tank skifs or their t1 counterparts
  • micromanadging miner 2s on prospect is a nightmare mainly when I had to do it on multiple toon so I could get in to higher level resource wars to test them
  • barely anyone playing it
  • LP store is a freaking joke…LP is literaly worthless unless you want those skins that badly just do the math yourself. Id be better of bying janitors and resseling them in next month and it would be still better
  • friendly NPCs are there really just for show and ocasional agro grab

Ways to improve

  • higher payout
  • bonus payout increase
  • rewards for destroying waves of NPCs so combat pilots actualy increase payout instead of swating few flyes that wount destroy your ship anyway thus wanting them to be good and efficient since more they kill higher the pay and faster you mine higher the pay
  • new LP store. Maybe buy things only with LP and not LP and money or add in some exclusive items like faction items for miners so they do feel the need to do these sites so some miner in nul can purchase resource wars strip miner with higher efficiency then t2 or minmatar/caldari/amarr/gallante mining ships + faction orca maybe a faction rorqual?

I mean theres so many things you can do with it if you build on it… Sometimes i really wonder who you have in your idea department becose half of the stuf that comes thru is half baked and then you fix things after year or two

like the drifter incursions for example
also incursion runners were crying for new sites for years
carriers going to siege and stoping being carriers and turning in to repair platform completely making fighters useless on it… that was a thing for years to

How about allowing the player to convert their LP’s to any other LP from their faction, just like how CONCORD LP can be converted?

I finally found an Athanor in high sec space. The bonus is below what it should be 51%, while the Athanor description says 2% bonus to refining yield for all varient of Ore and Ice.
50+2=52% not the 51% it showing. If CCP changed how they are figuring the reprocessing formula this patch they should have put out a note/release about it.
Pre patch Raitura 50%+4% (from a rig)=54%!
Either there is a glitch or a formula change, either way I want to know what is going!?

Rigs were nerfed from 52%/54% to 51%/53%, so the multiplicative 1.02 bonus from an Athanor is required simply to maintain the reprocessing rate from before the patch.
