I for one will no longer be producing Life Support Backup Units and Auto-Integrity Preservation Seals at the rate of several thousand of each per week, i’ll be switching to ZERO produced.

You won’t be alone in that either. A lot of us did the same on a smaller scale. Well, no more. Especially now that on top of that switch my job installation cost also doubled.

Now if I was CCP I would have tied the structure skin to if it was fueled. Fuel = skin No fuel = no skin. Insane people will rent paint in this futuristic game.

All these changes to Marauder balance and Dread build costs are really cool if you ask me. Marauders will be fine.

The change to Backup Units and Preservation Seals, though, not so hot.

Even if the higher tier PI is easier to move, dealing with big stacks of old PI that’s now in the wrong place is really not fantastic, and it’s not like it was ever a bottleneck in production that you had to move a few hundred thousand m3 of PI to your manufacturing station. Anyone making these components en masse could move the PI before, so it just feels like a change for the sake of making a change.

If you join a corp so that you get tax free situations then you are in the wrong game… On the other hand, the way that they implemented this is definitely wrong and this is why they are aiming to get them separated asap cause literally anyone who had a corp kinda went nuts on them.

As always, good corporations and alliances already had their stuff in place, with ways to reach corp/alli goals and activating their membership without going all impersonal about it. I’m confident they will continue to use those instead of this new project tool that will only result in less leadership and more bookkeeper’s mentality and management by numbers. That is not unexpected when the current Rattati & Burger duo dreams up something that may affect economy and now also fairness and trust level between corps and their membership. In any case, doing the work without the reward - on any level - never lasts.

I’ll put the question to anyone here: is this the type of expansion that we would dream up to celebrate EvE’s entry into the third decade ?
