Its stupid point tbh, because if you allow 1 day newbie to take ships (CAPS SHIPS) from corp hangar - it is YOUR problem.
Besides you can do it right now with SP injectors.
The point is that it’s not just new characters who can suddenly steal.
Just like you’ve overlooked all the tools this gives a not new character.
You have persisted in running the numbers assuming a day 1 character without bothering to think about what this does to more experienced characters. Or for that matter what it does to module use. Suddenly anyone can use a titan with doomsday under your scenario. And yes, anyone can use a jump drive, since you said modules wouldn’t have requirements also. (And if they do still have requirements we refer back to the silliness of it all)

This idea requires major dev-time to recode how skills interact with ships and ship bonuses, is easily abusable, doesn’t actually fix anything, would make it harder for new players to get into corps and would lead to less subs for CCP.

Actually the effect will be completely different. It will be easier for a noob to get into a corporation, because It can drive the required format faster

And the point is that you could have any old character “hold” a titan now. Suck out all the SP and dump them on the market. Nice instant windfall for those players with no loss.
Exactly, I cannot fly a titan, but change this and I could. This character cannot fly a JF, change this and he could, at least out of the station to be blown up or handed off to somebody who could.

Well, the skill progression system has been a core of EvE since its launch. Changing this makes EvE somthing similar, but Not-EvE.
You even dont read suggestion and thread - it isnt about skill system at all… I will not repeat.
