The game won’t launch with the latest beta of macos big sur. with the dev version of wine the game launches, but performance is horrendous.
Any chance that this issue will be corrected?
That’s an apple problem, not a CCP problem.
Someone else is having the same issue in another thread. I don’t know how apple works, but windows allows you to uninstall updates. Maybe you can roll back the update until the full release version comes out. Also, you can probably turn off beta updates. So, you might consider doing that.
And as always, please come back and tell us how you fixed it. Might help the next guy with the same problem.
For anyone who hasn’t worked this one out yet, switch from latest Wine version to 5.7 (preferences > use dev versions) and has worked since (for now…)
