I agree, permafrost atm, is crap. Though I wouldn’t mind knowing the numbers behind the rewards which are ‘valuable’ this event. (yes I haven’t looked them up)
I have hope though… a very little smidget.

Yeah, migrainer here.
The brightness this high really affects my headaches along with astigmatism
-White is nice but it’s too white. The blue icy background is very nice but once you go into a site it’s washed out.
-The camera does not need a limited scope. Ever. I couldn’t look up to click a wreck some 30km above me.
-Cans cant be hacked. Haven’t tested this myself yet.
-Nothing to mine.
-There are no drops worth anything except on the Battleships which are VERY rare. We shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes for another one.
-DPS is too high for most people. Vets will have a little trouble, and it’s nice to have an event with some risk; there are a few 2 and 3 bil Gilas gone up in smoke. Even an Orca was spotted on zkillboard but there is nothing for the little guys here and that’s a pity.
-We do not need to be crowded into one room per constellation. I’m sure some areas are empty while others are too full to play. As much as I actually like seeing lots of people together for the event I still think the sites should be spread around in all systems.
I do like the variety of this event. Same as last. It’s a nice change from doing one thing and only one thing but please spread out the drops across all the NPC’s.
If you keep a good range on the cruisers and drive fast toward the Battleship the DPS is much lower. Unless you are flying something too big to begin with.

Terrible camera, no reward, waste of time.
This event feels like it was rushed out without any effort or thought, showing a lack of respect for the EvE community.

fine … again, after restarting, I cannot enter the game without vpn … this is not a provider - definitely. The provider cannot work before the reboot and block the connection after, as per the order.
This is just further proof the game is NOT a sandbox game that you can ‘Free-play’ in. this game is just about ■■■■■■■ over everyone else… this event was created to feed the trolls and bullies nothing more, as do many new features in Eve… CCP just dont want player in game that generate isk… it stops them making real world profits in the Eve store… this disgusting and unashamed gauging needs to stop!

I am starting to consider that the CCP dev team is undermanned atm, and that the event was not ready, but they got forced to push it as it was by a higher authority within the company.
I do think that the devs currently working on the issues are taking all the heat for nothing, and burning their brains out to fix things. It’s just sad that this game has decision makers that have no idea what this product is about. 
What is see are grindier things, “collect them all pokemon style skins” and less sp boosterinos. Points to a certain gaming mentality tbh
On this note, please make the missions expire or change, I am stuck with 5 mining missions, 3 of them gas (can’t find the gas cloud), and 1 hacking of cans (no cans to hack).

Data sites respawn and fast probably 5 minutes for the can to respawn now.
please tell us exactly where real players without emotional or financial input to the game go to give their views… or is that just for those considered Elite or as V.I.P’s and the rest of us don’t get to have a opinion?
this event that requires over 3 billion in ships and over 50 million SP to complete all the stupid tasks like ganking in a barge… that will nor ■■■■ off until complete, what idiot - that has never played the game - came up with that idea??? and how did they expect Alpha’s to this task??
As usual there is less than acceptable feedback from CCP not even patch notes or apologises but when in PM with Lead GM Arcade he even stated that CCP condone and support in game harassment!
" I can only advise that if you suffer in-game harassment that falls outside of the allowed game mechanics then you get in touch." so clearly some in game bullying is acceptable and this event shows that 100% as the only people who can benefit from it are older players and those who can use their credit cards to compensate…

So are you all just trying to bait CCP into dropping more loot or is it really that bad?
I haven’t had time to fly it yet, but the entire concept sounds very interesting. Now concept and reality seem to be far away from each other, after reading all these posts. Still, I’ve read wastly different opinions about the value of these sites in terms of loot. Some guys said they make 1 Bil in Highsec in a couple of hours, others say there is no loot at all.
Which is it? Are the mechanical issues the only ones and is the rest just begging for more loot or is the loot actually okay?
2 hours playing yesterday … NO bounties, no llot (3 scrape metal in 2 hours), no gas, no data sites over 100 rats in main room yet cant tank 3 cruisers and 3 frigs in a rattlesnake… yeah it’s an insult to paying customers!

The method is obviously flawed.
If you get one place instead of many where everyone is doing something, maybe running the site and waiting for trigger, if you make more people wait and only one will get loot from these people, you make more people sad and disappointed they they dont get anything. With previous sites you could just go somewhere else to avoid competition and get something, now the same guy takes everything every time and more people are not happy. Its stupid game design. Frustrating. What to do then? People ganked and wardeced before for that reason, that someone is taking the loot before they can even shoot the boss. But what if you are an alpha just starting, nobody even can help you in those sites.

not saying that this event isn’t horribly designed (it is) but, to answer your question of “what to do then”. you said its one guy always taking the loot, and more and more people getting dissapointed… you have guns. you have numbers. take the loot from his wreck.
Ganking in high sec? If you dont know how, you will be concorded and he will laugh as it will not kill him. I have seen people trying that.
