site can easyly be done in a 250m Gila if you know what to fit…
- Datacans do respwan now (but they are empty, still you can complete your quests now)
- Site is not too hard…you can do it solo (still you should try it in groups cause thats what this event seems to be all about)
- BPCs for Boosters again…I hate it…but thats my personal oppinion
- Event-Faction-Loot seems to be a bit shabby
All in all it´s at least something new, but for me it´s a waste of time, I better go make some isk and buy the boosters

Thats nice now explain how alphas fly a gila? or Low SP… and what about the need for barges or exhumers?

gila is not omega exclusive and noone said you can do all the quests in a gila

Camera is a small issue, I suppose it could work like in abyssal site. Without bringing it too far from ship. But without fish eye effect also, that is distorting the image too much. The infuriating part is that its only one site in constellation and competition is leaving too much people unhappy, the loot even if better, will be grabbed by some rich bastard every time.
Also please fix fleet search tool. It doesnt work, cant invite any random.

it i less competitive than other before events. the progress bar of the quests is not working even if i have logged out 4 times. there is a good mix of pvp/pve

No you didn’t your statement was just you saying ‘Im ok jack’ … 5 accounts (all paid for) and 15 alts the best is 30 million SP and i cant tank the west room in a heavy tanked rattlesnake with average missile skills and superb drone skills using a combo of gekco, sentries and 3 race type t2 lights… that’s pathetic! that’s frustrating to know that CCP dont give a ■■■■ for those of us who still pay for the game!

I don’t care what you are in, if you think you should be able to sit at 0 with these things you are WRONG. If you didn’t bring a capital ship then sitting at 0 is death. I have 0 problem killing a group of 6 cruisers with a cruiser at range, they aren’t fast.
I get the following message on the gates, no pods, no carriers, no dreadnoughts, no titans…
I do level 4 missions in this boat and never need to concern myself with being overpowered… 3 frigs and 3 cruisers with over 1500 combined dps that are at zero as you land in the room… what the ■■■■ are you talking about dude?
Further more with no bounties the only thing of value is the loot… and i don’t think 3 scrap metal in 2 hours of trying to keep a 1.5 bill ship and fit alive was fun… and if you go to range then some CCP sponsored gankers robs the loot before you can get at it!

Its not so much the frigs but the cruisers have extreme DPS after they get closer than 30km to you, if you sit still or are large like a battleship it just makes the damage they do worse.

you should just reconsider taking a rattlesnake…it´s just the wrong ship (all battleships are). As you pointed out yourself, the events are supposed to be doable for everyone and I bet there are not many alphas out there that can fly a Battleship with a decent fit. They designed the event for smaller ships (crusers) as they have done in every event so far (except for the capitalsites). If your ship sucks in a site it´s either the wrong ship or the wrong fit (or the wrong pilot)

gnosis i put 3 gas harvesters ion it and no gas goes into hull ?
So if all battleships are wrong for the event, why did all the cruisers as in Gilas, Lokis, Legions, Ishtars VNIs and so on warp off with a sad face after trying to compete with my sniper BS?
Battleships work great, you just have to use them right and need to be able to apply damage on range fast and drone boats simply are ■■■■ at that. But because everybody treats exactly those ships as the holy grail of PvE they always draw the short straw when it becomes competitive and not just you shooting the dumbest and weakest NPCs you can find in the game.
I am not saying that you need a battleship though, for my zealot tanking was actually a lot easier, especially tanking the battleships is no big deal at all in properly fitted cruiser and keeping range to the cruisers also is not a big deal.
It´s quite simply the “Oh I am sitting in my tanky drone boat and am king of everything!” approach that fails in the event. Even more so when you have competition in the sites.

The only problem with that being you might be long enough range to shoot something in a battleship you are by far the slowest ship if people decide to just start stealing from you.
Sure you can shoot me, but I can just warp directly too your loot where you cant target me in warp. It is not so good in my book.
It’s soooo annoying. But a little better after the reboot.
Watch out! in the gas/mining site, Unstable atmosphere Two shots a prospect with no time to take any action with armour repairer running.
A little warning would be nice, but I am sure someone somewhere is having a good belly laugh.
A small loss, but That’s me done, when there is no way for a player to predict or handle random ■■■■ then I’m out, and I will burn my stuff rather than give it away.
What’s the point.

If your BS is doing fine, stay with it, not saying you have to use a cruiser…fair enought, I never even tryed the site with a BS, but I still think that using a BS will be problematic for alphas even if they have the ISK to use factionfit…Speed-tank-Gila with T1-T2 fit (which you can use as an alpha) is what I know, works…I haven´t tryed other ships with other fits but I´m sure there are a lot properly working fits to use…Rattlesnake (activetankfit) is just not working (at least not for Autum_Knight)
