If only BS is wanted and the rest are left behind. Spare the loot amoung the cruiser and make the bounty a little better that will have more PvE intsed sniping only BS. You make a spaw with 1 BS e tons of others ships and the player just pick the BS e run so All your work was useless by no one want to fight other small ships.

Sniper Domi with Sentries works very well, as I saw yesterday in Maurasi (don’t remember if it was you). Basically unbeatable, unless you have a warpable thing (wreck, ship, bookmark) nearby the Battleship.

Hey Folks, do “Medium Drones” now count as “Medium Weapons”? Otherwise, Droneboats would be most meaningless to solve the “Destroy X Mordus with Medium Weapons” tasks.

Seriously, why did y’all decide the Gas huffing shouldn’t give any event points? I spent 24m on the bloody skillbook, just for this event, because it seemed more sensible than whelping a dozen suicide cruisers into one of the most dangerous systems in our constellation. So fair enough, venture on my hauling alt, no problem, that’s fairly low barrier to entry.
First day. Oh, there’s no gas there, or in any other system around. Cool. Imma wait till tomorrow.
Second day. Oh, there’s gas. Great, let me huff some. Ok, got about a hundried ‘Hiemal Tricarboxyl’ in my cargohold. Awesome. Wait, why is the event progression not ticking up? ‘Harvest Hiemal Tricarboxyl Condensate’…let me double check that item…‘Hiemal Tricarboxyl…Vapors’…ahahahhahahahahaha, CCP, you jokester, bringing the christmas cheer. Hid it in the fine print, the ‘you gotta mouse over to see you’ve been pranked!’. Ah, hillarious.
But seriously event team, what the ■■■■. Why would you even include a ■■■■■■■ activity that doesn’t give agency points in a ■■■■■■■ agency event?
I mean I really don’t want to curse y’all out here, but seriously? I mean seriously? I’m in awe at this. Are these events meant to promote biomassing? Hype them up, get people exited, then disappoint them repeatedly over a single event. Day 1 release, so bugged, you literally can’t do it. Day 2 fixes, lolnope, gotcha.
Sorry for ranting, but I am pissed right now. I was upset on day 1, but I’m pissed on day 2.
CORRECTION: It looks like the gas huffing event reward is simply hidden behind the ‘examine west gate’ and ‘take west gate’ task. Whilst that is horrid user interface design, it is workable i guess.

So the objectives didn’t reset with DT?? So I am only left with hacking or killing Centurions (with M Weapons)???
Come on CCP - this event has lots of potential but it is still poor

Entered a site that had been busy earlier in the day with my Paladin through the North gate and discovered a sprawling mess of wrecks and abandoned drones. Survived several waves of cruisers and frigates, all dropping nothing or pure junk. Had one BS, also dropped junk. Looked at what I had been given credit for in event points, added up my junk loot, and determined that I was missing the best loot … I slowboated and MJD over to all the T2 drones that had been abandoned and scooped them up: a total of 12 T2 medium drones worth about 10M isk. Added up my time,and effort, looked at my reward, projected how long it would take to complete objectives I wanted…and went back to exploration and mission running. I’ll pass until fixed.

Came to see if there are any fixes…guess not. I am stuck with 6 mining missions, which i refuse to do and will not do. Guess i can’t play the event today either. Good thing the booster that I can’t get, have an expiration date.

Level 4 missions that give bounties and loot drops and some challenge a bit but mostly yea not very challenging… strange how i can make a few 100 mill a day plus loot and salvage or ■■■■ all bounties and a few scrap metal… after the rest is robbed… how can you defend this event unless you are one of those who make it impossible for others? the trollers and in game bullies that wont let be?
What the general feel is that you need expensive t2 ships or over priced gila to do this…and no ■■■■■■■ way is an alpha getting into a ■■■■■■■ exhumers in a hurry if they need to train for every ship in the ■■■■■■■ game just to be excepted as having a right to an opinion… or access to this material…

Tbh, Gilas are mediocre for this event. Marauders and t3 cruisers is where it’s at. Seen a nice 1.6 bil Tengu that was melting the rats last night. Too bad he spent 3 hours in one site for 4 battleships and 1 drop :))

I do like the idea where there is a MUCH larger pool of tasks to complete, but some of them are really not quite thought through. Now kill a brick tanked death dealing battleship with a frigate, or another with mission requiring small weapons to kill said battleship may sound fun on paper, it doesn’t work so well in the game. And spending a few hours satisfying the gas missions for pocket change is pretty piss poor as an idea too.
So in short, wide choice of tasks, good. Tasks pulled out of thin air with no idea of what they involve, bad.

This Aint an option so why the ■■■■ doesnt an employee do their ■■■■■■■ jobs and talk with us explain the ■■■■■■■ concept explain how an alpha gets to use a mining barge? or fly t3 cruisers or have the skill points to compensate and have multiple ships ands fits…
this event is big ■■■■ off to everyone but the elite…

I´m not defending the event, as i said, it´s not worth my time…I just said it´s not as impossible as your posts indicate.
… btw to everyone… unless you want to have the priceskins, just skip the quests…the module drops anyway while farming boosters

I am going to disagree here, I think there is a place for whacky tasks since you have a bunch of them. I believe the real problem we are seeing is that the tasks have no time limit or reset on them effectively locking a unfinishable task to you preventing you from ever effectively using that task slot anymore.

I did notice today with the gas sites, you get 1 vapor per cycle and it requires 15 vapor per 1 mineral is this intended seeing as Venture/Prospect is really the only valid gas mining ships, i was there for ages on the gas and made 6 of the mineral, whereas yesterday i could sit in the ore site and make a reasonable amount, is this how it’s supposed to work?

Clear the spawn with something bookmark, warp directly to the BS in a frigate/ destroyer… It does almost no dmg to small signature. Easy to do if the dorf is in your HQ but swapping ships/ using 10 alts for this site “might” be annoying
