I spent a bit of time this morning at one of these sites. Cool idea at first. Then I jumped in and started blasting away. No bounty, no valuable loot, all empty nodes nothing to hack= no fun. I don’t get it
Last event had faction loot, could at least match that if an army of people have to stand around waiting for spawns.
First off, I made a video explaining the event for anyone interested. You can find it here.
Second, if everything is super white and blown out, change post processing to high. The event will still be rather bright (especially the west gate), but at least you’ll be able to see everything on your hud.
Why? Why should YOU as a player, find fixes and workarounds for something that was released without the devs thinking about the players? Players tha have their “post processing” to low have it because they need it. Why should the event force them to change that?
They do, but it’s definitely harder to find wormhole constellations than it is to go from one to another in k-space. From what I’ve read, the only w-space system to have this was Thera because it’s in its own constellation. I have yet to see one in our chain
This stupid event is horrible.
Spent 15 minutes finding a site
go the hacking sites and… its empty.
Spend 10 min getting a mining frigate goto the mining site and … its empty…
Change to a combat ship and the combat sites are empty…
Great freaking event.
Then spent half an hour looking for another site in a different region same freaking thing.
Oh and WTF does my screen need to be completely white?!
T2 Wasp’s obliterate this site from frigates to BS’s so in this case no need to move to much. Tank was breaking when I was fiddling with the site/tank options on sisi.
If you celebrate having a bad mechanics and game play you will always have a bad mechanics and game play. Dev’s need to be held accountable for bad content.

Well, I guess events are the best place to experiment. I mean, negative event feedback probably wouldn’t hold a candle to the 5|-|!7storm that would come from messing with players’ main money making activities. That being said, events have become rather regular, and we have become a little spoiled -well, at least I have. Personally, I’m not looking for events to encourage fights, competition, and/or other emergent gameplay. I just want to get my cerebral accelerators (and other goodies) as quickly and painlessly as possible. I compartmentalize PvE and PvP. And, I do PvE to earn isk and achieve goals, not look for fun. And I want that grind to be as small as possible.
As for specific feedback:
(1) I play in a dark man cave, and prefer sites not to be too bright.
(2) The camera restriction is just plain annoying.
(3) Agency goals which require players to switch away from their preferred ships and strategies is going to annoy them.
And based upon what I found on the test server (I haven’t checked to see if this stuff was changed before it went live):
(4) The reward drop rates seem way too low considering site difficulty and competition.
(5) The reprocessing rate for the heimal condensate/ore/whatever is way too low. The rate for the vapor/gas is acceptable.
(6) The reprocessing rate for the in-site structures is so low that it is sure to cause rage (especially, since it doesn’t warn players as to how much Tricarboxyls they’re going to get back).
Also, I know I had previously said that I was fine with building accelerators, but I’ve since changed my mind. 20 mil or so in production materials is a mild inconvenience to me, but a significant barrier to newbros. Thus, they either have to skip on the accelerators, or mine their tricarboxyls themselves. I may not be privy to all of CCP’s player metrics, but I’m thinking that any mechanic that encourages players to engage in the most extracted profession is probably not the best for new player retention.
