We have been awaiting you for months. Delay no longer. Come and face Caldari steel.
wraith of a federation that can’t collect even a couple of data triglavian
so scary
M1ss1ng, your name is quite appropriate in describing the Gallente response to the Serthoulde situation. Your Senate seems to be more concerned about the presence of State forces exactly one stargate jump away from their capital in Villore.
Given that Serthoulde is in the Placid region which has historically been under Federation sovereignty, the Caldari State is an occupying force which makes you the invaders, not the Federation. You may site CEMWPA or whatever else you wish to site that justifies your occupation of the territory, the legality of which I’m not contesting, but you are still an occupying force.
I do commend the chosen diction, however, very rallying and patriotic. Stability and order being used as catchphrases for securing the invasion and denying a response by the Federation so you could dress yourselves as the protagonists of the story. Very well written.
In reality what you’ve done is incentivized military response with profit in order to secure your continued occupation of the territory while simultaneously decrying the Federation’s response in kind as somehow more villainous than your own.
A successful campaign. Credit where it’s due.
Agreed and welcome. Many in both militias like to dress up their motivations but the reality is the vast majority of their pilots are driven by the credits paid to them for capturing objectives and the organizations behind them are driven by the resource exploitation rights which come with those captured objectives.
The actual results for the people who live in these systems are: (A) an extraorbital economy which is either non-existent or militarized because bored militia pilots shoot industrial ships to pass the time but cannot be bothered to mine the assets they deny others; and (B) the occasional raid on the planetary surface (of questionable legality) to appropriate assets and in some cases people for profit.
How so many subscribers to this forum can support this system with the excuse that “well, we’re different of course” is beyond me. Those who truly care about their local communities should instead dedicate themselves to destroying all militia flagged ships wherever they may be found.
The story of ‘Federation Sovereignty’ in the constellations of Placid in the CEMWPA sections is a story of willful neglect, brutality and recently a dictatorial commandeering and occupation of civilian infrastructure.
On all fronts pertaining to Serthoulde specifically the Federation is a gross failure to the people that call it home. A failure to protect them from Triglavian build up in Athounon, a failure to invest in the constellation just like so many other areas of lowsec Placid and both of these have led to the failure of Gallente propaganda in swaying the Serthoulde residents that they should hate those that came from across the region border to uncover the Triglavian operations and deploy infrastructure and make them feel cared about.
Nobody is surprised, this story of repeated failure to uphold supposed values is a regular event in history with the Federation. Charlatans that only care about their citizens when the citizens attempt to separate or are offered a better alternative.
I fully expect that once this period of fake outrage passes and the pleading stops, the Federation would be more than willing to forcefully “evacuate” their people on generously mislabeled slave transports.
When the Intaki originally negotiated for entrance into the Federation, it came with the stipulation that there was to be very little naval presence in the area because we valued our self-reliance and autonomy. Times have changed in the region and a renegotiation of the naval situation in the area is due but rather than develop secret bases and stage a violent uprising as the Caldari chose to do, the Intaki have accepted that change comes gradually, particularly with the establishment of the CEMWPA and have opted to work within the system.
The situation in Placid was established when the CEMWPA was written and has created a unique opportunity for the people of that region to see the absolute atrocity that is the “proxy war” being staged in the area. We’ve gotten to watch systems change hands repeatedly. The State with its greedy corporate expansionists snatching up as much territory as they could so they could lay ‘legal claim’ to the assets therein and sell off ‘development rights’ to whatever corporation believes itself most capable of exploiting the region and its people. Meanwhile the occupied territories are ‘developed’ as staging grounds to take ever more territory while resources and assets are plundered to be dragged back to the corporate vaults should the system be lost when the Federation sweeps in again.
You once again brand yourselves as saviors when you’re naught but opportunists. You attempt to spin the narrative that you ‘care’ about the people of Placid so you’ve come to build infrastructure and ‘uncover Triglavian’ operations but all you have done is contribute to a developing arms race between yourselves and the Federation with Serthoulde caught in the crossfire while using your infrastructure to secure the resources and information from the Triglavian remnants there for yourselves and your own advancement. It’s the same operation you’ve been running for years but with a new ‘clever disguise’ as altruism because you can justify your actions against the latest boogeyman.
I will conclude with a concession that the Federation does indeed fail to live up to its ideals often but that is because its ideals are lofty and worth striving for even when you fall short because even in the striving you are better for it. I’d choose the Federation’s imperfect idealism over the State’s corporate tyranny every time; and in the Federation I have the liberty to make that choice.
Victory in Serthoulde!
With the Caldari Navy moving in and halting the Federation’s deplorable schemes, I am delighted to announce the end of this competition!
Below are the winners of our Resource Denial Operations competition!
1st Place - @Diana_Kim - 6,000,000,000 ISK
2nd Place - @Lord_Omega - 3,000,000,000 ISK
3rd Place - @Mika_Firestorm - 1,000,000,000 ISK
We salute these brave hunters for their integral part in denying the Federal invaders a foothold in Serthoulde and ensuring that the State’s objectives in the region are realized!
For the State!

You dropped that.
Damn, i never suffered this much mockery here, let alone the Federation as a whole. And i took that personally…
Well said!
That’s what we are trying to do! First eliminate the invaders then withdrawing to make the area out of bounds for military activity.
Very well said! Wish we had more of such powerful speakers… A democracy can’t be perfect but it doesn’t mean it’s not better than imperialism or corporate dictatorship. Sure, ideals are not lived up to, but we atleast have ideals unlike the State, who live off preying on the personal lives of their own civilians.
