As already mentioned here, new players should received this for free one time, after they finish the career missions. Only when they want to try it again, they should be charged .
Another option would be to get it for free one time after they have purchased omega from the Eve store.
There was a discussion on TIS about this , and from what I’ve seen there on the test server , this expert system does not include skills that allow you to try t2/t3 ships , most of them are basic skills at level 3-4 and only a few at level 5 , so this better be very cheap .

My opinion is I think the idea is great.
My requests:
Provide all skills for level 4 mastery for any given ship or class of ships(HAC, EAF, AF, ect.)
Make sure it’s priced to be appealing. $3-$7 per an expert system implant. Frigs on the low end, marauders and black ops on the high end.
Exclude cyno skills and capitals to prevent overnight titan pilots or alts jumping ships to avoid cooldown time.
CCP is looking to make ton of money now…or maybe eventually allow a person to pay for 1 week of this amount of sp(think like 25,50.75,100 mill sp…)
very predatory on new teens with someones credit card or super rich(nice job etc)…so they can skill inject to their ship desire…after trying this"Expert System"
Hey buddy I got this new drug, just one hit and your hooked for life…or least I will get your money then before you walk away… I am for this program but against any other version beyond this step…also tbh between us, when has ccp stop at trying to make money, everything they have done as of recently is to make money and burn matertials in the game(besides ship rebalances)- I just wish they updated the hardware more with all this new money coming in.

Nah, this system it’s not going to provide that . And what would be the point for a char that can use all subcaps in the game or a capital specialized alt ? The expert system isn’t going to unlock that , as mentioned it’s for starters.
Just add skill injectors to the market on the test server, and remind people that it exits for exactly this kind of stuff.
Or is this another digital item with poor value for money grabbing cash again from suckers?

You buy into this. While Omega, you inj 15 mill sp. When you go back to Alpha, you now have 20mil sp to Alpha with instead of just the 5 if I read this right?
I’m not sure if I understood correctly what is it that you want to ask…
When you reach the 5 mil SP free training limit as an alpha , you don’t actually need omega to inject (15 mil SP) until the 20 mil SP alpha limit, but you will probably be limited to alpha skills for the injection.
My bad, I wasn’t sure alphas could do that. I’m sure there’s some way this can be abused. I have faith in humans to screw up everything.

My next question would be how far can a bot go on 20 mil sp? In all the talk about bots, I never caught the answer to that one.
Yes, but it might unlock limited omega for starters, on a part time basis. An alpha pilot can fly a venture at around 80% (?) of the maximum mining capacity that an omega pilot can achieve. If the alpha then uses an expert system to unlock a barge, they can fly a covetor at their same alpha skill levels for around 2.5x faster mining? For one week.
Correct. But you can only use alpha skills. So, in theory you can have 100M SP as omega, go to alpha, and you still have 100 M SP, but you only have access to up to 21.5 M of alpha SP.
It depends. If you were a casual player, who only plays weekends, why not? My best estimate is that 5 M SP gets you all the alpha skills except racial skills, weapons and ammo. It then also lets you choose to max out one racial skill to T1 battleship, plus one weapon system and ammo. Close enough? Each additional 5 M simply gives you another racial battleship plus an additional weapon system and ammo. I think.
What these expert systems would seem to do is then give that alpha access to limited omega skills (at least for mining) on a pay-for-use basis. I do not know if they would also give access to combat omega skills. Would they have access to cloaking for example? Access to higher Magic 14 skills should tho certainly translate to more powerful armed ships that the alpha can fly on a temporary basis.
I didn’t realize alphas could skill inj over the 5 mil other than the free sp so my point was moot.
Neither did I until another thread. Technically, they cannot train routinely after 5 M but they can still use any free skill points they are given - daily log-on, campaign give aways and the like. Apparently.
EDIT: that of course is the point of the daily alpha injectors. they can then pay to inject a set amount of SP each day, after 5 M

I saw this mess coming 2 yrs ago, packed up and unsubed my acct’s a yr ago now. Made good isk off selling off my stuff as CCP “diminished” my assets. Kudos to them and my wallet. I sold off my ore early cause I didn’t think I might be able to transport it anymore. So no profit on that other than I guessed correctly and made good before it was stuck somewhere. Another really lucky break is none of my stuff got stuck in Trig space. I had nothing in those type of systems anyway…
I resubbed this toon for another yr because of the good deal at last new yr. Ego mostly, I just want to finish off all my sub cap combat skills to 5 so when I retire and CCP MAYBE pull their collective heads outta their arse, I might be in a good position to resub…
Did not know that and does not matter. They still have to pay for it = more revenue for CCP. Just the same as using expert systems.
