They started this by assisting in a war. Got rid of their structure. Now they can fight for the duration of the war without a HQ since they now part of the defenders war for up to 2 weeks without owning a structure them self

This is the issue. And i agree it should probably be changed.

But I’ve got to love the poetic justice. Hundreds of players putting structures in alt corps so that line members can use them but are (get ready for this) not eligible to wardec.

And now because of this practice it’s possible to wardec and bash a structure that has no defenders.

And it’s probably a side effect of the effort to allow the carebears to dodge wardecs, so even more poetic justice.
