Factions Standing Increase, and Best L4 Missions in HS

Hello people, I wanted to know what is the best way to raise the standing with the factions, since I have some that are a little low. In addition to your opinion on which are the best level 4 missions.

Regular missions do not raise faction standing at all.

You have several choices on how to raise faction standings.

Iā€™ll just link this here, and you can read up on it.

Guess that depends on type of career content you want to do.

If you want to do Security missions and not mess up your standings with the other main Factions, then only accept encounter missions against Pirate Factions and decline all Empire Faction missions.

As for the Storyline offers you get after completing 16 regular missions, those will definitely affect all of your Faction standings, both negatively and positively. Personally I would just decline the Storylines, especially if I was working on raising the standings of the 4 main Empire Factions.

If your career is Industrial oriented, you can do Mining missions. Most of those wonā€™t have any NPCā€™sā€¦

Then thereā€™s Distribution missions which are basically Courier / Haul Trade Goods. These missions can be completed rather quickly and if done right, can even have a few of them active at the same time. Also Courier missions are great for quickly gaining Storyline offers if neededā€¦

ā€˜The Planā€™ link above by @Geo_Eclipse_Oksaras (thanks) definitely will help you to repair and or raise Faction Standingsā€¦

I would not run L4s and instead go for L1 or L2s in stations which have normal mission and storyline mission agents in the same place. For instance, if you want to fix your Gallente and Minmatar standing (do they still improve combined despite the lore standing reset?), running Poteque L1 Distro agents in Kor-Azor is ideal because you have the combined agents in 1 station in 3 different places. That makes standing fixing quite fast and efficient.

If there was a Dev Blog about it then I must have missed it.

Anyway, as far as I know derived standings are still active in-gameā€¦

I think hes referring to the recent change in standings.

And yes derived is still working which is why we can now gain standings with CONCORD

Unless devs change the ingame standing between factions, the derivation does not change.

Thank all you guys, Iā€™ll definitely take in count your comments on this.

Way back when I started, it used to be that you needed to be above a certain security status as a positive value. A few years later that changed it, so that no matter how bad your standing towards a faction was, you could always talk to a level 1 agent and request mission from them.

If you use something like an assault frigate or tactical destroyer, you can do those very quickly and after a few storyline missions, you can get to the level 3 agents rather quickly.

Sometimes the level 3 agents can have decent payouts for level 3. When you reach a standing of +5 towards the faction you wanna work for, the level 4 agents become available for you.

Then you can make an okay living, depending on where your agent(s) is/are located. In NPC null, the burner missions will just through isk at you, but you need to be vigilant, being lawless space and all. The Stain region is decent for NPC null, but Fountain and Querious are nice or can be nice, if you get along with the locals.
The other NPC null regions are not very favorable. Not because the locals, but those have far fewer stations.

Until we get a patch that says Minmatar and Gallente are fully at war, they are still allies in game.

Location location location

I have tracked over 20 hours worth of missions, here are the results

Now, Zor and Damsel can go both ways, they can drop 100 mill worth of implant, but depends on your luck.

I was able to keep sub 8 minutes mission time from undocking to docking again. This is your biggest challenge and few things play into this.

a) Ascendancy implants
b) Turret marauder, in my case, Kronos with 3 faction damage mods, 1 sebo, 2 tracking computers, mjd + mwd + faction ammo. You donā€™t need to bling it at all, but faction damage mods and ammo is recommended and the only ā€œpriceyā€ things I use
c) One nergal for anomic agents. I took hateless ones, created all the fits, put them in notepad ingame, so I dock, strip fitting. Once I get next agent I just select which one I need from notepad, right click and fit. This makes reffiting a brezze from hangar.
d) Location location location. You need to find agent which:

  • is location centrally in the constellation, l4ā€™s can send you into any system
  • is located near other constellations which do not have lowsec, since anomics send you in diff constellation. this can vary per agents, had some that average 3-4 jumps, had some which average 7-9 jumps, so you can figure out
  • make sure that systems in constellation are sub 90AU size, the smaller the better. had to run few mission in constellation where one system was 160AU accross, took 2 minutes just to cross itā€¦
  • for money making purposes, make sure to find good LP store (Quantum Anomaly)

Doing everything right, you can get (at bad agent with bad store)

And at good agent with good LP store

Yes, 60-100m ISK/hour seems about average (with more depending on the agent system security and specific corporation).

Would assume that closer to 60M is prolly T1 battleship or Golems

With turret Marauder, 60M per hour on bounties alone would be my lower estimate with any decent effort invested, regardless of agent / lp store.

Even few years back, my Machariel was getting 60-65ish per hour on bounties alone.

It all depends on the corporation, implants, fit, etc. But I probably average 120m ISK/hour in my Kronos.

To be honest when you are doing evaluation itā€™s normal to have low value.

You canā€™t have proper idea if you restrict yourself to what you already think is worth. So you need to do everything to then have a better idea.
