Like it or not, clothing choices are incredibly limited. Morality demands it? At this point ?
The religious and obscurantist Amar Empire finds itself perfectly at home there. The somewhat uptight Caldari, perhaps a bit less so. For the Gallentes and the Minmatars, more fanciful elements would be welcome. Expanding clothing options—much like the customization available for ships—could be a viable path forward.
“Tailor” could even be a profession in EVE Online! All of this would be under CCP’s supervision, of course, to avoid shocking the delicate souls who—ironically—encounter far more (or less) in their real lives every day.
This is a call to anyone ready to submit their designs in the comments below.
But, now for the real world, will this bring revenue into the company, such that it is worthwhile for the company to devote resources? Sadly, we know that answer is no.
So somehow to monetize the process – similar to SKINR – might be the answer on how to sell the idea.
For income, we use the same model as for ships. We reuse what already exists.
We can easily take the colors used for tuning spaceships, and even some patterns to create prints and designs. Initially, the work focuses on existing clothing, with the hope that there are creators among us who can expand the possibilities. Currently, it’s still very strict
They have made skinr for ship skins, wouldnt there be a way to add your own touch to clothes? I think there is a way!
