I don’t think you can drop a citadel on a landmark grid? (But you sure can within 0.5 AU or something.)
There is a citadel on grid with the finish line beacon right now at least - although I don’t remember seeing any others along the route.
As long as it’s >1000km away I would think it should be possible, at least the citadel dev blogs don’t mention anything about not dropping them near landmarks.
Leaderboards updated.
There is now only a little over 24 hours left in the contest since the Federation Grand Prix live event concludes at downtime on Tuesday, 23 March. As with all the leaderboard updates so far I won’t have access to the final times until Wednesday. Good luck with the last day of racing!

Just finish the last lap already
that leaderboard of your s Mr drake iddon is completely wrong if the same name does not show on all 3 leaderboard s meaning you have not done one of the other laps , like never done just one of the other laps you are not identified as a competitor there for you are kicked out
If Lsund wasn’t a legitimate massive threat to my 1st place I might have just said no and chilled
Just forced him to run, he is aware so enjoy his times
I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the show now.
Convict, can we get an spreadsheet once it’s over with the 100 fastest times, not the 100 fastest competitors? Would be nice to see some peoples progress.
Also damn, I should have upgraded to a Leopard for that east run, just 3 seconds behind 2nd place.
Jesus, I’m dropping through the leaderboard like a hot potato Hopefully I’m still in the top 10 come wednesday, I don’t think I can get any better times out of my, arguably pretty basic, strategy
the one issue with this event, is that certain characters have very real, very innate advantages, just because they were created at the federal navy academy, which gives the huge benefit of having a reasignable deathclone 3 jumps from the finish line at any time, which afaik cannot be changed at any point.
South run completed: ive never died so many times on purpose and even telling locals that i have HG ascendencies so they pod me when i eject
part of my route ended up having tidi aswell when i was 5 jumps away and an 80 man mach camp, that wasnt stressful at all

Yeah that is a bit unfair, although out of the current top 10 pilots, only 1 has FNA as school station (admittedly the #1 spot), so it’s possible to compete without it and be reasonably competitive.
Ironically the route where the duripant skip saves the most time is east route where I was barely ahead of most people, didnt use it on the north route, did on the south route where it saved me 10 seconds and cost me about 1.5b of implants
The only good solution I can come up with for this is to prohibit deathcloning completely, every other solution introduces a whole lot of new problems. And tbh I think it would be fair to set the rule that a capsuleer that “died” on a run can’t set a time.
Final run of this madness done for me too now. Looking forward to the results. Thanks for the fun to all the competition.
2 sections:
- Open (anything goes)
- No Death
No death or jump clones I would say, that still makes JFs and blackops bridges the optimal solution though
That depends on the definition imho. I’ve had up to 4 BOs + Cynos on my routes. The ability of an extra “jumpclone” next to your normal one is helping a huge amount. Assuming you skip 6 jumps that way you are gaining ~3min on everyone who doesn’t have the joy of deathcloning back to school station.
I’m sure there are people who did the route just with a leopard / asc yacht on the lower placements.
But since everything is allowed its just fair. Would be stupid to not use it vOv.
Maybe something to keep in mind for the next GP if a similar event should happen.
