When manipulating the size of the “Fighter Bay” window, the fighter tube images continue to display after decreasing the window size beyond the point where those images appear in the window. In other words, when you shrink the Fighter Bay window, the fighter tubes continue to display outside of the window.
The player can not interact with these images, meaning that the fighter tubes cannot be emptied or filled with new fighters until the window is expanded again. So, they serve no purpose continuing to appear in this state.
I can’t remember how the old UI handled this… I believe the fighter tubes would be cut off by the shrinking window and only the tubes that fit within the window would display.
