If you can´t make the Filaments take longer as in Pochven.
Than at least give us a valid counter play as it should be for everything in EVE:Online.
- Filament System Jammer
- You are unable to Filament AWAY from this System
- The Filament will be visible on the overview as a beacon
- Mobile Filament Inhibitor
- The Filament extraction times are increased as long the device is active
- The Filmanet will be visible on the overview as a beacon
Please keep in mind which WE OWN THE SOV IN NULLSEC and should be able to shape the space as we want it.
If you leave in other spaces you have other advantages like in Lowsec the Stations can´t be destroyed as they are owned by NPC Faction.
I don´t want to NERF how pilots can get into NULLSEC, but once they are here they can´t cheese out if they don´t like the PVP they get here.
PS: You came for PVP, so take your PVP Pill.

Nice idea!
I would prefer to have the same long filament spool-up times in null as they are in Pochven to allow room for combat probing as counterplay.
But if we cannot have that change I think one of these deployable effects is a good alternative.
Filaments have a positive effect that they can create content by allowing players to easily travel elsewhere to find conflict, but a big downside is that these same filaments also allow players to also flee from conflict and simply disappear from a system that got too hot.
The addition of the filament spool-up timer was a step in the right direction, but in a patch which increased the spool-up timer in Pochven to allow players the time to probe filaments in time the same spool-up timer was decreased everywhere outside Pochven for some reason.
This brought back the initial problem of filaments.
Some form of counterplay should be added:
- increase of spool-up times to be equal to Pochven
- deployable to stop filaments while it’s up
- deployable to increase spool-up timers while it’s up
I think the deployables are interesting, they could be made a fair bit more expensive than mobile observatories to form a good vulnerable objective for a group that wishes to escape and the deployables also add a counter to an otherwise very cheap way to escape from conflict.
