Filaments require a re-balance

To be 100% fair none of our ideas are going to be used by CCP they will only look for the problem and they will themselves come up with a solution. Game design in a nut shell.

So from my perspective problems:
Easy escape using filament’s from null group’s by small gangs.
But those escapes are necessary because of 100 with caps vs 25 without caps.

People living in Jita
Too rewarding to the 0 effort crowed the entitled bunch.

Emptying of dangerous space as there is no need to live closer to the action anymore.

The dominance of a single trade hub encouraged by filament’s and a single trade hub dominance is going to benefit 2 of the fw sides and be terrible for the other 2 fw sides. Leading to uneven distribution.

Especially when people don’t use alts anymore for fw which means most are going to be on caldari and its going to be mostly because of filament’s. Before filament’s Dodixie was alive now its dead.

like there is no practical way to counter cargo scanning which allows ‘gankers’ to make their activity more efficient.
like someone looting a player’s wreck (that wreck belonging to a player who got ganked) without being taken out by the faction police or CONCORD. Imagine someone getting knocked out and someone else comes and robs them right in front of the police and they do absolutely nothing - that doesn’t seem right.

The simple fix would just be to add a sec status penalty for every use. Every filament activated drops security stats a full 1.0 point and also 2.0 points negative to all factions. Consequences and risk vs reward.

I certainly don’t think so, more people go to 0.0 because of filaments, hunters should locate the places they go and jump them when they arrive.
