Your passive armor tank will be gone long before FOB will lose its shields.
This is what ppl usually use to kill FOBs :

But OP didnt post a “passive armor tank”. He posted a cap-chain-rem-rep Domi fit. 800+ cap stable armor tank (omni) with just the 2 of them, with 3 its 1600-2000 tank and way less susceptible to ECM.

Gurista or Blood Raider? Gurista is easy, because you only need to tank for Thermal (see example fit above). Blood raiders have split damage EM/Therm, which makes it difficult to solo (haven’t tried yet).

The thing is, if you are solo, the response fleet can be kept in check. Once more than one vessel is on the grid, the response multiplies. I have no fleet experience with FOBs.

That overpowered fit is why EVE is dying. People get ganked in it. The SHOULD be ganked in it. And then they cry.

It is a Gurista site. They’re only doing thermal you say? that does make it easier.

That domi is a cap/rep chain fleet domi.

Get 5 of them together and the tanking potential is pretty nuts. I go tthe idea from this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhgTN3NltE0

It appears to have worked pretty well.

Yep, thermal only. The Rattle above is the fit I posted in another thread, it works. I would help with the extortion, but I’m not at home over the long weekend in Germany.

C’mon people, planning to do this this weekend after i skill up for the Nestor. I will fit the nestor very similarly to the domi listed in the op to provide some dedicated logi and mild dps. Just need a few bodies willing :stuck_out_tongue:

As already mentioned, every single body you get means buff for responce fleet as well. FOB are pretty good in cap warefare up to several kilometers range, just a friendly reminder.

Thanks for the heads up, I think we will go for 1 Nestor and 5 domi’s, or, more domi’s if we can get them. I hope it will be enough if we stay on top of our rep/cap chain.

The nestor should be able to be replenished by the domi’s. Every ship in the fleet is fit with 3 remote cap transfers.

Fit the Nestor with some Cap boosters, imho. The FOB structure has neuts

Probably a good idea, just in case everyone in the fleet decides to suck. Or, at least to have one self sufficient ship.

I will lead it if no one else wants to, I’ve seen the site run with the fits I’m recommending it’s not a difficult site to beat, just gotta have a good setup and coordinated effort.
