Fog Generator Used To Watch Movies

I watched a video on Tik Tok earlier of someone using a projector to project a Star Wars movie onto the smoke being created by the fog generator.

Looked fake but real.

Has anyone been able to project Eve Online through a projector into the smoke generated by a fog maker?

The result was rather interesting, basically the effect looked like a holo-gram.

With a little modern day refinement, playing video games on sheets of smoke might be the next big thing.

Ah yes just like how everyone thought transparent screens were the next big thing LOL

Watch out guys I can play EVE and see the wall in front of me! :ghost: :ghost: :ghost:

I thought the same thing to myself after noticing the rectangular border around the movie that appears in the smoke. There shouldnt be any border, let alone a rectangular border.

I don’t see this becoming anything more than a novelty. Try reading the tiny text of EVE Online on a smoke screen. Also–as Anthony pointed out–having a clear screen you can see through isn’t conducive to maintaining any kind of focus on what it is you’re trying to watch. Clear screens have been technologically feasible for a while, but they don’t make them because they’re not practical.

Only a novelty until It becomes a new feature for iPhone

Eventually the Fog Projector will become a thing. Thats how progress of technology works, you build many prototypes until you find the one that works.

I would have to say that if the molecules of the fog can be arranged similar to Ice-7, then the fog projector might function.

You’re right, just like this:

Was so impressive, too
