Updates Purpose and justification for the industry being subject of the application Updated previously added paragraph on recent warclone activity in New Eden.
Since Friday noon, we are receiving reports of attacks on Upwell Planetary Industry facilities located on the surface of planet Otomainen I (The Forge).
There is, apparently, just one Capsuleer owned Planetary Installation there
…so Upwell, probably hoped their operation will go unnoticed.
They are being infiltrated by sc. Avalon Warclones, guided and commanded by mysterious Lord Elyan. The move seems very bold as the System has only one stargate to bring potential reinforcements or get out.
There are multiple casualties among Mordu’s Legion security guarding this Upwell facility.
We have intercepted deployment footage from Avalon warclone helmet camera. It will be posted at later date, after it gets decoded and processed.
Based on what? Watching of less than 4 minutes of 13 minutes long recording? You’d posted within 4 minutes from decrypted footage publication. I doubt you even watched that long.
I don’t feel like I need to prove anything here. Why would somebody made an effort to fake and then transmit those streams? Yes, we have more. So does CONCORD, I guess. It happened in Caldari space. On their watch.
What was happening down there, based on the footage, is highly disturbing and humilitating to Upwell. Not that I feel any pitty for them. But, if it happened to their planetary infrasrtucture, it could happen to anybody’s.
Why do you try to wave it off? And so quickly. Are you a part of Avalon? I think, I saw your sympathetic posts in their communications.
I so, it would explain your persistent efforts to derail and ridicule the initiative for ownership and mass use of warclone technology by Capsuleers.
If not me, then somebody else will succeed. I don’t care who will get the credit.
Your simulation is literally missing textures and uses placeholder models. If you are going to fake an attack like that, at least put some effort into it.
If anything this video shows why organic soldiers is entirely the wrong way to go. Half of your simulated clone’s kills are done by gently poking the simulated opponent clones with a pointy stick.
Drones are the future of warfare. A single Warrior II strafing run would have secured whatever objective this simulation was about.
A strafing run does not secure and hold an objective. If you want to maintain a presence, drones can support that but they do not replace actual people taking an area Ms Dyneaux. You seem to have a very… capsuleer idea of ‘securing’ something. Often times you want something secured and not completely trashed in the process.
As for this, en Divalone, whatever iteration of Avalon that the supposed Lord Warden Elyan is trying to create, is not the one I’ve helped to support and work with for the last ten years.
The Round Table Assembly and Bosena Accords, as well as UNF have been watching for activities related to this new Avalon, and thus far while not opposed to the potential of collaborative efforts, Elyan’s Avalon is an entirely separate entity that is being looked on with a great deal of suspicion, especially with their previous Deathless Circle ties.
You’d do well to understand the difference in organizations at play.
I actually thought, you would base your assumptions of simulation, on the signal from AR overlay stream. I admit the look of it confused us as well. But, based on the entirety of analyzed transmissions, we accepted them as authentic, sourced in real time events on Otomainen I.
The original intercepted signals, comprise of several synchronised data streams. We only decoded video, audio and, partially, incoming AR stream, Both outgoing video and audio were already mixed with incoming AR stream. Which, visually and audibly agreed with each other.
It is probably a safety measure, allowing whomever commanded warclones, for comparison and detection of false AR input injection.
You are entitled to doubt of course, at your own risk.
CONCORD anounced open session, shortly after the atacks ceased. Let’s wait and see if they address the incident in any capacity.
You’re arguing that drones do not provide the “staying power” of an organic soldier, which is a fair retort if we were talking about planetary militia or a mercenary force like Mordu’s Legion, but warclones are per definition a time-limited resource. The Shriker warclone, for instance, has an estimated lifespan of about a minute once activated. From the published draft, en Divalone’s warclones have an estimated lifespan of about a week when inactive, before the supplied nutrients are expended. Presumably that’s referring to a state akin to coma. While active, can we expect much more than several minutes before this supercharged human anatomy burns through its supply of nutrients and self-repair nanites? A drone, on the other hand, can remain in an active combat state for several hours before exhausting its supply of reactor pellets, and in the case of laser and blaster-equipped drones, have the ammunition supply to match. With modern reactors a drone could remain in a ready-reserve state for weeks on its own, maintaining active or passive sensor coverage as the situation warrants, or indefinitely in a docking cradle. Drone technology is also not limited to aerospace superiority fighters, as a fellow capsuleer I’m sure you too have experienced being decanted by nursing drones in a fully automated clone bay. Ground combat drones not only exist, they’re common. Automated security was a common sight in the city I grew up in. So really, what can a warclone do that a drone can’t do better?
Let me preempt retorts of “rogue drones” with “Deathless”, an infomorph operator is no guarantee of loyalty, the only difference is that we have effective techniques to pacify rogue drones. See the Excavator mining drone, or mutaplasmid-adapted combat drones, for examples of this in widespread use today. If we were to design a proper, fully secure, system for planetary infrastructure defense, it would take the form of a bunker hardened against orbital strikes, with automated drone hangars, and possibly a small virtuality hosting infomorph overseers if relying on AI for this task troubles you.
You are the one who used a ‘Warrior II’ doing a strafing run as your shorthand for ‘Securing’ a zone in your initial posting.
The average lifespan of an active Off The Shelf warclone combat body is about five years, with indefinite storage time, most derivative designs have the same or better endurances. A warclone in a ‘leisure’ body rated for combat deployment has a natural human lifespan(functionally indefinite with modern medical technologies)
Shriker Clones are a very specific model of clone set to hyperoverclock that work well within the confines of a hull when you need a lot smashed in very short order in a very small area, but quickly fall off at scale. Especially with larger ships while they can play havoc on systems, they can be hemmed into areas and kept on check until they expire.
en Divalone’s patent application designs are far too limited for widescale usage. I could see some short form low endurance operations benefiting from them but you still need active garrisoning forces, and en Divalone’s design is purposely incapable of that because he, like many others does not understand why you want operators that can last more than a few weeks on their own.
Very little in this cluster guarantees loyalty. The UNF has used drones and unrestricted AI at scale for years, in tandem with human forces of any particular description, traditional style Clonesoldier Warclone, Valkyrie type Clonepilots, Capsuleers, and Baseline forces.
You rarely, if ever, want to rely on any single system. You gain the best outcomes by a multivalent approach with an eye toward efficacy over efficiency.
Our proposed industry allows for practically unlimmited storage time and environment types, of warclone blanks units when inactive - no infomorph controlling a warclone blank body
Technical details of the industry
(…)
Both methods produce complete platform of identical quality and properties for storing warclone blank bodies in cryo-stasis encased in compact form storage unit. The rugged enclosure features all the transport utilities prescribed by commercial standards like forklift groves, stacking guides, crane hooks, manifest storage memory, transponders for automated container terminals. The units also feature vitals monitoring with holodisplays for periodic control of content quality. The enclosure also fits into standard rescue pods and can be deployed in it onto planet surface from orbit by any capable vessel. The warclone body when stored in the enclosing can survive high energy impacts facilitated by built in inertia dampeners.

the enclosure format gives unlimited flexibility for storage and tactical placement. It is de facto launch and forget platform.
(…)
When active - infomorph is controlling a warclone blank body, it lasts about a month
Technical details of the industry
(…)
Depending on the energy expenditure of the activities undertaken it varies between a day and a week.
The period may be extended by the informorph ingesting a pure nutrient formula
(…)
Because of the high metabolism rate and higher than normal performance stats of the warclone body it deteriorates over time, naturally limiting the number of formula ingestion. The efficiency of the warclone body decays logarithmically, typically over a month.
Are you prepared for yet another two weeks of warclones chaos? Due in 29 days?
Also, rumor has it, they might gather enough of resources to finish building of their warbarge, aka Avalon Bastion, to allow them for constant presence among us. As soon as November this year.
It is allegedly being based on pirate FOB design, known from insurgencies.
Here is a picture that claims to capture the Avalon construction site
