So I have no idea how I missed the new model or changes to the ONI but I’ve seen it and it can’t be unseen… I’m normally just a L4 mission or epic arc running pve carebear. I usually only fly battleships but I will make an exception and Branch out. I would greatly appreciate your help in designing a fit or fits for this ship. I want to try to use it for high sec exploration for combat sites. Any Abyss you think it can do. And possibly for the upcoming guardian gala and any other appropriate pve you may suggest.
I’m an a very long time player who comes and goes but always comes back. I am Omega, I have almost 100m so. Isk is not really a concern, don’t get me wrong I’m not looking to be stupid or a gank magnet as I have no pve skills at all except to scream ohhhhhh nooooooo. And maybe cry a bit lol.
And yes, I’m sure the Gila is better at everything but I don’t want to fly the Gila which I already have and never use I want to fly this beauty.
I mocked up a fit and will post it when I get home for advice comments or just dude, that fit sucks try this.

I like ONI model it self lots going on for it back turret/missile while look nice will shoot thru hull at stuff in wide arc in front of a ship think that is a bug but i don’t expect ppl will populate those highs anyway.
ONI and Probe atm are my favorite ships in eve.
Me runnin some t3 in it fun boat i think gala is a go too basically anything that don’t require you to burn thru battleships…have fun.

Oh, also, have you tweaked it at all from the video, how does your testing go? Have you tried a T4 with it?
i think i didn’t change it since than plan to upgrade with better prop and invul for tier 4s maybe specific 5s
Regarding pod price slot 6-10 i got for 250mil each 1b total(incursion life) and slot 5 is complete waste of isk for abyssal runs.
But since i wanna push this ship to max every 0.5% counts so will swap slot 5 with shield booster implant at some point.
Pod works for gila/enforcer/cerberus/sacrilege …anything missiles and will be dedicated abyssal missile clone when all is said and done.
Got lazy will get to it at some point some drugs and it will breeze thru em imo…aaand for me to remember to pack rage ammo more than single clip he he things might go smoother.
you have almost 6b in implants alone, your not worried about losing those? I have 6 clones with high grade implants but im using a clean clone and ill add in some low/mid grade stuff. For abyssal is it only certain weather types that you have to worry about being neuted? Id like to avoid those.
I would like to be able to use the ship for abyss, high sec exploration and maybe the guardian gala event. Would you change the fit at all between those 3 things? Also your resists are a little low, would it be better to drop either the TP or webber and add in an additional resist mod?
This is the fit i had put together on sisi, so far I have only run a 3/10 high sec site with it which had drones and frigs and cruisers which was very easy. 1 volley of the missiles popped almost anything but again it was only a 3/10. I chose to not use a mobile depot or else i would have taken the probe scanner for the 2nd turret.

All sites can spawn neuts,spawns are random there are sites that are cap friendly(electrical maybe description is on filaments cant miss it).
Most likely yes for gala i would prefer mwd tractor beam and auto target system for example.
Don’t find tank lacking atm for what i do with it tp/web drop is an option would try to augment cap further or raw shield boost if you get cap out one non working invul or two non working ones wont mater you will die.
But if you go that route don’t stack them ie don’t cycle them at same time.
I assume currently with a web and a target painter your hams probably apply damage quite well?
By any chance did you look at the fit I posted? It can hit out to 47 with the missiles plus the speed of the ship it can close or kite pretty well. The 2 autocannons seemed to pop the drones and frigs.
The drawback is the 35 second reload. I wonder if those hams could take down a BS? I think in the gala the last boss can be a bc or bs. I’ll try your fit and see how it goes. I may opt to drop one of the either web or tp first and add in something for cap or maybe one of those ancillary shield boosters that run off cap charges in case?
Not fan of rapid lights as main damage source after 2 reloads i am ready to decompress ship my self that being said they work on small targets well and range is good as well.
TP and web help medium sized missiles to work well, web too helps with drifter battleships to prevent him running allover dragging you along at edge of arena.
Your fit seems fine test stuff swap stuff see what works best for you.
Ok I ran your fit on sisi last night. I was able to run a few explorations but nothing crazy and I was able to complete an L4 mission, it just the duo one with the 2 raven BS but the tank was great and I was able to burn them down fairly easily. I am going to try a harder L4 today and then look for a 4/10 complex if I can and maybe an abyss. Abyss is scary, lol
