Foundation – New Quadrant starts soon!

BTW, just to highlight what I mean by that:

Same basic numbers as March.

The difference? The M2-XFE slaughter makes it obvious how little is happening everywhere else.

Caldari is Senior Executive Director Akimaka Saraki of the Wiyrkomi Corporation. Found it on Reddit.

Akimaka Saraki shows up as State War Academy, and with a beard on the chin

In game is correct. The site is not correct. But the small beard is actually not correct in both cases.

Yes, exactly. The extraordinarily high death toll of that M2-XFE event has vastly dwarfed everything else happening elsewhere. Hence what we see. And still there are molehills of normal happening spread nearly all over Null. In contrast to the still Jove waters, again.

For the same very reason they include two sheets for total market trade value - one with Forge (Jita) and the other without.

Thanks

Except that normal as the maths says is a couple of cruisers a day. Hardly what one would call busy.

Yes, but as @Nevyn_Auscent points out, that ‘normal’ is… nothing.

You’re talking about systems that can individually support a few hundred active players, supporting… 1. Maybe. Part time. That’s not a situation where we need to expand things. We do not need more sprawl.

Neither lifeless as death. Especially account taken of the fact that the math we’ve been referring to doesn’t cover exploration activities at all, and those were about the lowest scores, not mean values.

Needs differ. Covering a wider spectrum will hardly hurt anyone. Busier systems can be found nearly everywhere, just look for the knobs if not spires - will be well above the minimal levels we were considering as examples

I declare you winner of this thread.

Yes, it legitimately will. The more the players get spread out, the less they interact. The less they interact—based directly on CCP’s public statements over a number of FanFests—the less they keep playing, and the problem snowballs.

Yes, adding more space and spreading people out even more thinly will hurt the game.

Yeah, looks like there are entities pressing certain agenda with markedly fervent determination (which would probably do better service to the world elsewhere)

Are you just word-salading at this point? Because that had no bearing on anything being discussed.

Have nothing to add to what I’ve said above. The point has been stated in its entirety.

So, taken in-context of referring to player interaction and retention data, you’re saying CCP should not be pressing an agenda of actually keeping people playing EVE Online? Because in the context of what was being discussed, that’s pretty much what you appear to be saying.

That appears to be intentionally biased interpretation. The key point actually is:

Explanation why has been provided, too. Feel free to disagree.
Can see no sense in any further cycling.
And we, just two of us, should rather refrain from hijacking the thread.

The key point is factually wrong. Nobody needs fewer people in the game, and CCP’s data shows that is the result of what you’re suggesting.

Unless you’d like to call CCP liars about that?

Visions are known to differ as a matter of perspective. There is not enough information to form more definite opinion, hence nothing to add to what has already been said.

CCP’s data shows that players who interact with other players tend to remain in the game. Those who do not, do not. The more interaction, the more retention. Reduced interaction results in people leaving. This is not a matter of perspective.
