What the hell is up with all the bugs in this quest?
Need a Data Analyzer OK but you can’t use the Civilian one you already have. So had to warp out BUY ONE and go ALL THE WAY BACK! There goes a freaking hour of my time doing that crap.
Then I finally get to the second part and can only transfer 2100 units of the Isotope ore, and won’t let me put the last 1900 units in the NPC hold.
Who is doing the QA on these missions? A chimp? WTF???
You mined the wrong isotope. You get several messages about it, but I guess you were already too angry to read them. Looks like E-Uni has a brief guide for it if you want to try again.
Isn’t that all missions? Whenever I’ve done mission arcs the text from one part to the next always reads as if there’s a bunch of text missing.
IIRC they changed up the UI a long while ago (Apocrypha maybe?) and got rid of a screen that came before the actual turn-in. Like you’d open the agent window, click next, then get to turn the mission in. The interim screen was removed but the template they use to add new missions wasn’t, so the paragraph or two where the agent tells us what happened is just gone. And because CCP devs don’t actually play EVE, and normal players don’t read mission text, nobody noticed.
There were major changes to mining, so some smartyboy at ccp decided to make a marketing story around those features so people know about them. It works well for that. We all know no one wants to read patch notes.
Calling it ‘epic’ is just a bit, well, more marketing.
