But the thing you’re proposing isn’t “counter gameplay” it’s literally an “I win” button. You hit it, you can’t die, Concord shows up and kills the gankers. Can you please tell me how this isn’t going to be an “I win” button in practice?
If you are going to claim you can do something but not do it, then why don’t we just have an exchange of “your momma” jokes. It would be funny at least.
He provided a hard proof example. You provided empty claims. He wins…until you do more than talk.
Look at the killboard of the characters on the kill he linked. The proof speaks for itself. HE provided plenty of evidence to counter his own claim (which I already said), but of course you can’t take 2 seconds to look.
I know, I know, when you have the mental capacity of a rock it’s tough to click on a link that is already above that shows plenty of information and actually comprehend it. I get it. But don’t expect others to waste their time because of your fail.
You are asking me to sort though those links and prove your contention. You have not even named a specific name so I can ensure we are not talking past eachother.
You talk like you went through all the kills of all the gankers mentioned. But you didn’t, did you?
Look, all I am saying is that if you are not more specific it leaves too much up for interpretation. If you can’t be bothered to properly bolster your own argument, that’s fine. Just stop acting like you are properly bolstering your own argument anyway.
I don’t need to. They are all in the same corp, and all are on pretty much every kill. There are plenty of freighter, orca, and bling ship kills to look at. if you bother. Takes a whole 5seconds to find plenty of examples.
It was plenty bolstered by the easily available public information. A long list of kills vs 1 cherry picked kill. Your failure doesn’t change that fact. There is nothing “up for interpretation”
That’s an interesting observation. One that seemed a bit strange.
So, to validate whether that was right, I just went and pulled the last few thousand Charon and Ark losses in highsec and looked at the ones that were ganked**.
Of the last 899 ganked Ark/Charon, 589 had at least 1 expanded cargo hold II. 65.5%.
Essentially 2/3rds of Arks and Charons ganked most recently, are fit with an Expanded Cargo II.
Fit is really just a distraction/excuse in this discussion.
The fact is this SOLO PLAYER thinks he is ENTITLED to survive in a MANY to ONE FIGHT.
Talk about selfish, he wants those (8 from your data) players to not be able to accomplish their goals because of his one special self who refuses to play with others in an MMO.
IB We hear that those 8 players are bad people IRL
IB All gankers are multi boxers so it is really just one player
If its so easy to organize 20 pilots to go ganking, then balance the playing field, and organize 19 people in your ‘active corp’ to protect your Freighter.
All industrials, Transport ships and Freighters should have Turrets/Launchers or Drones.
Give them a lock range and drone control range of 12km and scan resolution near to those befitting a combat ship of similar size. (Player made explosions are good)
In a world of unsafe travel who in their right mind would build a huge starship with no weapons.
However, they’re somewhat justified to call out your lack of a combat escort as a deciding factor on the loss of your ship. Get your friends to escort you or even repair you.
So, 20 pilots attacking one target on one side, and on the other, 20 pilots trying to figure out which of the 20 other pilots they should attack and sort that out in less than 5 seconds, where some of the 20 will only be legal targets AFTER they have started shooting.
Uh, something tells me that’s not gonna work and goes a long to way to explaining why gathering a gank defense squad of 20 is going to be really hard.
